Both me and my bf got exam here. Dr Gonzales is wonderful and enjoyable. She kept us entertained while we waited a short while. Genisis was very helpful and both wish my bf a happy birthday. We had a full day ahead of us but they all helped us and kept us entertained very nice wonderful crew. Lucy made our appointment and answered all my questions and got our insurance correct. Walmart is very lucky to have a wonderful crew to get the job done ,and done right.

Was informed after a 400 purchase that my prescription was weeks away from expiring anyways so they basically sold me glasses that wouldn't even be right. I live out of town so when i tried to return per their satisfaction guarantee I was informed I was one day over the 60 days from purchase but if it takes days to get the glasses how do I know if I'm satisfied the day I pick them out if you don't actually have the right prescription.

It's all about Lucy. Kind, patient, professional and as helpful as can be. I've gotten glasses through Walmart before, at this location and another, and never has the service been of this top quality. As they're at least one employee short right now, I would definitely suggest making an appointment. All I can say is Lucy was worth the wait. Walmart, she deserves a promotion and a raise as I've never experienced a professional experience of this quality at a Walmart before. (By the way, if I were still an Asst. Dir. of an 11-branch healthcare facility in San Diego, I'd do everything in my power to steal her away from you!)

Everytime I go to this Walmart I have had a bad experience. I usually go to Rio Rancho Walmarts because their customer service is the best never any problems. I came into this store and there was already customers being helped so I waited for 30 minutes. This other family walks in and they get helped before me . I am not waiting another 30 minutes just for an adjustment. horrible customer service.

The walmart optical on coors is first rate! The staff from the doctor to support staff is so willing to help and work with insurance questions. Appreciate Jessica and her willingness to always be kind and helpful.
I just went back Jan 2026. Staff is so courteous and helpful. Bien and Miquela went the extra mile for me in help with choosing glasses and a return. I love the Rx sunglasses I got!

Worthless customer service. Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks out. I get a call the day of my appointment to notify me that my insurance was not correct on file. I verified this info since the first day of making the appointment. Here we are 3 weeks later, out of network & time wasted. With no explanation.

I traveled from Gallup, NM to this location on Coors in Albuquerque, NM because I have grown to love Jessica's customer service when she was working at the Gallup store years back!I willingly travel a 4 hour round trip to see Jessica because she makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. She always has patience with me when I select frames. She gives suggestions and honest feedback when I ask. I will continue to go see her when it's time for a new vision exam and new glasses!
