So unfortunate. I had such a great experience the first time I came here. This second time has been terrible. I have been waiting for my contact lens order since August of 2022...I just today finally picked up only 3 months (which came as a surprise. I wasn't told over the phone I was only going to be walking out with 3 pairs of contacts and when the lady gave me the bag she acted totally nonchalant and would have let me walk about without saying a word if I hadn't looked in the bag to see what was in there) of the 6 month supply I ordered. They're all in little individual boxes labeled "sample, not for sale". It's 2/22/23 today. They had thrown in a free pair from the office for the long wait but when I came to pick up my lenses, the woman at the front desk told me she would only be ordering me 2 more pairs because of the extra pair they threw in. I said, no, I would like to have the whole order I paid for. She then made me GIVE BACK THE FREE PAIR. After I get the rest of the contacts I ordered last year, I will never come back again. Save yourself the trouble and don't come here. If a manager would like to contact me about this, that sure would be appreciated.

Herrera should probably retire and his office staff is horrible. Note they do not take Humana any longer and evidently even though they have an agreement with the VA they don't honor it - said they don't get paid by VA but the only reason they wouldn't get paid by the VA is if they submit the bill coded incorrectly. Which doesn't surprise me because their staff cannot even answer the phone in that tiny office although they can listen to their music and talk on their cell phones. Go elsewhere. On the other hand EyeMart Express is wonderful.

Dr. Herrera is an excellent eye doctor. He helped adjust my contact prescription and base curve which has provided me with the clearest and crispest vision I've had in many years! Thank you Dr. Herrera!

I am still in Dr. Herrera's office, waiting for a letter to give to my primary doc, and couldn't wait to write a review. Very simple: Dr. Herrera was very professional, thorough with the exam, and explained everything to my understanding!! Dr. Herrera's assistant, Tawny, was also very courteous and personable, as well as efficient with the pre-exam stuff. Best ever experience with any doctor, primary health or specialty doc included. Thank you Dr. Herrera!!!!

Super friendly HELPFUL courteous staff..and Dr. Herrera is SUPERB. State of the art equipment... very reasonable prices.Dr. Herrera takes his time, explains EVERYTHING in a very professional easy to understand manner, then patiently answers any and all of your questions. One of the best experiences I've had with any doctor and staff...ANYWHERE.

Dr. Herrera is always patient, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He always takes time to explain what tests he has done, what they determined and what that means to me and my eye health. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Herrera for over 10 years and have received excellent care through all those years. Thank you Dr. Herrera.

Dr.Hererra is the most caring, considerate, and compassionate man. I had been suffering for months and my eye doctor at the time kept saying I had dry eye never looked at my eye or considered other options. Seen as an emergency Dr.Hererra was able to see the issue right away and has since then not only helped me take steps to get my issue taken care of. Called me on the Holiday and during his personal time to make sure I am doing okay and my pain is being managed. I cant say enough about him of the office.

Dr. Michael D. Herrera Is very thorough, kind, patient and considerate. I would recommend this be your first stop for complete eye care. What I thought would be routine follow up from another eye care facility - a bad experience - Dr. Herrera found serious problems that will be resolved through their in town specialist associates, and even set up the appointment for me.
