The doctors and medical staff are great. I was very disappointed with some of the administrative staff. I was charged for the visit and should not have been as I have very comprehensive insurance coverage. I attempted to explain this to the office staff person and she dismissed me saying that "people don't remember they have to pay for office visits at the first of the year".I have had to refer this to their billing dept and assume I will be refunded the money by my insurance eventually. Maybe some additional training would be appropriate. I hate having to deal with these issues and being out of the money. And having people not listen to me.

They are super busy and appointments are months out in the future, this either means they are so good or just that there is no other eye doctor in Santa Fe anymore. I don't know. My eye doctor at eye associates, Dr. Erin Byrne is my dream eye doctor. She got my contact lenses prescription right for the first time in years. I also appreciate that she can admit to not knowing everything and refer me to someone who knows my specific problem. This is a rare personality trait in my experience. She is also friendly and seems to have a sense of humor. I can't tell more about her after a few 10-20 minutes meeting. I've never waited at this office, even though I'm often late. My roommates eyes are like new after he had cataract surgery at eye associates. He can read without glasses now!!!

I was worried in switchong to a new doctor. I was quite pleased with Dr. Solano. Dr. Coulter was just as good. I was pleased with her manner and thoroughness. She listened to my concerns and explained her check-up in detail. I am glad to have Dr. Coulter as my doctor.
