The staff was efficient and skilled. Most of the exam was done by them. Dr. Jarvid was "fine." I'd have to spend more time with him to give an intelligent answer. I appreciated that he didn't tell me to come in every year but could wait for two years but to call if I needed to, of course. I liked him and he did what he needed to do to tell me the state of my eyes. The vibe in the office is really good. Lots of young happy energy.

Dr Reidy was personable and very informative taking time to explain the results of my evaluation and the options for my cataract surgery. I left having a good understanding of the procedure and choices for lenses. Her staff from the front desk person to the technician and finally to the scheduler were friendly, patient and helpful. I even requested one more quick word with her and she graciously gave me another opportunity to speak to her before I left.

Pretty horrendous delays this afternoon; I didn't see my doc til 90 min after my appt. His tech couldn't find the reason for my appointment in my chart so was confused about what was needed. The administrative aspects of this practice, especially those leading to long delays btw appt time and actually being seen, have long left much to be desired. If I were only rating those, I'd give 3 stars. That said, I couldn't be happier with my doc, Gavin Gorrell, whom I'd give 10 stars if possible. I'd wanted the appt to discuss concerns and reservations about upcoming cataract surgery and concomitant glaucoma intervention , and he covered all of those thoroughly and candidly. Very refreshing. I don't often feel like docs know as much as they want me to think they do, but I had the opposite experience with Gorrell. I left feeling well treated and encouraged about the intervention possibilities, and I believed he would respect whatever choice I make even if he'd prefer I'd made a different one. Don't lose this one -- he's a wonderful addition to Eye Associates!

Anna and the staff at eye associates were very professional and helpful. She explained everything to me, and gave me options. I decided to go ahead with the procedure which was very quick. She made it painless and I felt like she made sure I knew what was going to happen. This is the second time I've had this kind of procedure performed, unfortunately we identified another cyst that will need to be removed. But I will continue to be a patient at eye associates.
