I cannot imagine a better experience at an eye exam anywhere. The support staff were courteous and very helpful. The medical staff were extremely professional, explaining every aspect of the exam clearly and patiently. I would not hesitate to recommend Ultimate to family or friends.

Requires that you have both medical insurance and vision. My husband and I currently only have vision insurance so they wouldn't even see us. It's very disappointing and it doesn't make sense to me why they have to bill two insurance companies just to give you an eye exam. It doesn't feel they care about you, unless you're fully covered I guess you don't deserve to have an eye doctor.

Great place to get a new pair of glasses. The staff is kind and thoughtful. I got my eyes checked and got a new pair of glasses. The optician and ophthalmologist are more than happy to explain what I did not understand about my eyes and glasses.

I do not recommend this place. I tried twice to get reading glasses from them. They did an exam and I came back around a week later and the glasses were no good, they did not help me at all. Someone in the office told me that they made a mistake. They gave me another appointment for a week later. I came back, they did a new exam and today I went back to pick up my glasses. They did me absolutely no good. I was given a refund and made an appointment with a different provider. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

I've been going there for years. Dr. Rasmussen and all the staff provide excellent service.

After getting my prescription I unfortunately chose to get my lenses there even though they were very expensive. My mother had just passed and I didn't have the energy to go elsewhere. After several weeks I picked up my glasses and they seemed fine in the office. After wearing them for an hour, I got dizzy and returned. The lenses were replaced three more times and they still weren't wearable. The lab was blamed. I requested a refund and was told that wasn't possible. They would keep doing the lenses until they were correct. I asked what if it took 10 times? I would be without glasses during that time. I just got the same answer. I came in with glasses that were fine. I unfortunately thought I would upgrade them so I could check that off my list. Huge mistake. I then took my frames to a discount eye store. My new lenses came in 10 days. They were perfect and cost one third less than this place. The store told me that was the last time they could put new lenses in those frames because they had been so weakened from the previous four times of installing unusable lenses. So now I have lost that many years of wearing frames that I adore. Considering the cost of new lenses, new frames and the weeks of hassle, I am out close to $1000 dollars. I wrote a letter to Dr Rasmussen. No response from anyone. None. Take your business elsewhere.

Update, a year later: My latest appointment was with Dr. Rasmussen. He was kind and professional and helped figure out what my vision problem was. I did purchase glasses this time, with the help of Becky, and she was awesome. She answered all my questions and made sure that I was happy with my glasses and she was genuinely nice. Also, my glasses were ready within a week. Thanks everyone :) This was one of the best eye care experiences that I've had. The entire staff was so friendly and the Doctor was knowledgeable and caring. They have a lot of high tech equipment that I hadn't seen before, the offices were clean, and they actually accept my insurance. I highly recommend! (To be fair, this was just for a routine visit for a new prescription, but I trust that the same knowledge and care would be shared at more in-depth visits). Thank you!

I just got the best glasses of my life there. These guys have the newest technologies and the people who can make them work for you. I have worn progressive lenses for years. They work pretty well when fitted properly, but you can't see perfectly in all directions any distance. You get used to positioning your head so you can see at a given distance. This pretty much works but can cause neck pain and eyestrain. At Ultimate I just got a new type of lens that out does the progressive. It is called Natural Adaptation and it is more advanced than any other lens I have ever had. You put them on and in a few minutes you are seeing like you don't need progressive lenses anymore. It seems so, well natural. Everywhere you look you see with sharpness and clarity. The people at Ultimate even help you find just the right frames and lens shapes. They will customize a pair of glasses just for you. They even have a new type of lens that helps people with frequent migraines. They have all the best stuff!
