Eye Associates of New Mexico

My mom had an eye appointment on Oct 2,2023. We live in Raton so we went up the night before, They treated her very well and were very caring. I explained that since we lived out of town I would need them to ship her glasses. They were more than willing. Yesterday Oct 11 they called to tell me her glasses were in and I paid the shipping fee. Today, Oct 12, her glasses were delivered. It makes me feel good that you guys care enough to do things in a timely manner. Thank you for a great experience for my mom

Staff are friendly, the doctor is super kind and soothing. Front desk staff, Helen, is patient (even when I was grumpy about the paperwork).

Takes FOREVER to get in for an appointment. Months and months. So plan way ahead. Staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. Optomotrist was fine. Dispensing optician was not helpful at all (therefore fewer star rating). I will be buying glasses after the exam I just had but with so many options including online choices, I won't be buying from Taos Eye Associates. She has the opportunity to make great customer service a real selling point. She was indifferent when I asked for assistance in finding an appropriately sized smaller frame, essentially saying "just look around". There are many others who will appreciate my business.

I experienced an eye emergency while here on vacation. I got in in two days, had a good experience from start to finish, and fortunately did not need any treatment. Highly recommend.

Samantha at the front desk was rude to both my wife and I which was uncalled for definitely not a people person. But on the other hand Jill was great Very helpful and respectful. Thanks Jill you are AWESOME

I have been surprised and amazed that I could ask three times about Anti-Reflective lenses on my recent eyeglasses prescription and was totally ignored (by 3 different people). I expressly asked for the A-R lenses due to great difficulty with oncoming traffic at night. I even asserted that this was a serious matter of safety, both for me and for other drivers. I never received those lenses, and I am only allowed one pair of glasses on my plan. I was contacted once by Eye Associates, with a promise for a return call which I did not receive. Now, post-surgery, I am seeing black spots in my vision, which one doctor dismissively told me that it MIGHT be permanent. When asked about this deeply concerning issue on my follow up visit, the attending physician stated that he just didn't know. This is about my eyesight!! And attempting to reach anyone where I live in Taos has become almost impossible -caveat emptor!

went in about a week ago to pick out my new prescription sunglasses. Sonia helped me find frames in my budget, was so helpful with me being indecisive, and my glasses came within a week so happy with the service and quality of my frames and lenses. would def come again.
