Dr. Ratzlaff and Breanna and the other lady in the optical shop are all extremely kind and professional. I have had one eye exam and purchased 4 pairs of glasses there so far and have been extremely pleased with the service I've received in every case. Breanna has always invested a lot of time in helping me pick out the best frames for my face. And I've gone in many times for adjustments. I've been to a lot of optical shops in my life and RealEyes is honestly the best service I've ever received.

My wife and I are new to the local area so we're still learning what's here. Her eye glasses frame broke at work today and we stopped in to RealEyes in Taos about 30 minutes before their closing time fully expecting to drop off the glasses to have repaired. But to our surprise and delight Breanna was able to repair her glasses while we waited and even adjusted her sunglasses. This establishment is totally top notch and displays the epitome of customer service. We will definitely be returning for all of our eye related needs.

My highest recommendation! I was just passing thru town, so I needed a quick repair for my broken glasses. I am not exaggerating when I say the admin/receptionist, Sky, & optician/office Mgr, Roberta, could not have been more gracious if I was a celebrity. Sky promptly escorted me back & introduced me by name to Roberta who greeted me with the same genuine hospitality. She promptly fixed my glasses and showed me a trick to fix the problem without breaking them in the future. It was a very uplifting experience.

We were heading thru Taos, NM and my husband was complaining of a possible eye injury. We called RealEyes, and they had an opening (on a Saturday). What a blessing! Others told us to go to an ER and this location was actually open! It turned out to be a scratch and he was given a prescription. We saved thousands of dollars since we did not need the ER as we did not have insurance. Thank you to all the staff for working us in.

The great reviews are true! Super quality eye care. The Dr. gave great insights during the exam and made recommendations that would save me money. He was not out to maximize revenue to the detriment of the patient. I so appreciate honest, professional care.

I co-owned and helped to build this practice with the Doctor. His care of patients is exceptional. Even though I no longer live in Taos I still continue to go and see him for eyecare. If you are looking for a Doctor that cares and takes the time to explain what is going on with your vision then he is the one to see. The staff is fantastic and 3 have them have been there for many years. It was a pleasure to work with them. His 2 newer staff have the same care and concern for patients as the rest of the staff and the Doctor.
