Dr.Allen is the best eye doctor I've ever had. Dr.Allen helped me fix my "lazy eye" after battling to fix it for over 10 years. 2 surgeries, eye patch therapy, vision exercises, 3 pairs of glasses, and 2 contact prescriptions later- Dr.Allen performed my final corrective surgery and she and Dr.Andrea Kasoff prescribed contacts and glasses to help keep my eye in place. It's been just over a year since my surgery- and my eye is still straight. Dr.Allen explains everything from start of treatment to end result in rigid detail. You are never left wondering what she's thinking; what's going on with you; or what the plan of action is. She customizes her approach and really works hard to help you achieve the results you need and are looking for. It is with her incredible accolades and her incredible patient care that have kept me coming back to her, even after I moved 2 hours away from Albany. She is hands down one of the best eye doctors in the capital region. If you are struggling with cross eyes/ lazy eyes- she is the Doctor you want to see!!!

Doctor Anna Allen is always well prepared for my visits. She carefully reads the medical chart. As an MD-PhD she has scientific skills as well as medical skills. Before becoming her patient I was told by 2 other opthalmologists that there were no alternative eye drops for my glaucoma condition. Because of her broader experience Dr. Allen was able to prescribe 2 other drop treatments that were more effective.

Fabulous eye doctor. Listens and explains procedures. Had surgery 1 week ago and she has followed me closely I highly recommend her
