The associates in the office behave like that don't give a.. about their job. One of them informed me with a very unpleasant demeanor, that the normal wait time to see a doctor is 2-3 hours rather than the promised 20 minutes. Dr. Perlmutter spent less than 10 minutes with my mother and had no desire to answer even basic questions about our options. Furnishings in the office on Hackett Blvd look like they were ready for the dumpster. Most cabinets have plywood about to fall off the doors and the place simply looks dirty.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a doctor. they make you wait for hours To see a doctor for 3 minutes, 4 if if you're lucky.

I am so pleased with the results of my cataract surgery and Love having my sight back! I have one close up mono and one Symfony IOL so do not wear glasses except at night for depth of field. My brain works this way as my eyes have always been very different. He does a lot of cataract surgeries so is very skilled. A very nice person.

I have been seeing Dr. Perlmutter for a number of years now for monthly eye injections for macular degeneration. I am always so impressed with his skill and his willingness to address any of my questions thoughtfully and with much kindness. With previous doctor's injections, my eye would be inflamed for days after the injection. With Dr. Perlmutter within an hour after an injection there is no discomfort or distortion of my vision.

I have had a positive experience with Dr. Perlmutter and his staff. He is straightforward and knows his stuff, even if he doesn't always take (or have) the time to explain things in great detail. And I cannot say enough positive things about his staff! I was a difficult patient, cancelling and rescheduling cataract surgery, losing prescriptions, and lots of pre-surgery anxiety, but they were supportive, patient and professional throughout. They deserve a shout-out!

I recently had Dr David Perlmutter perform cataract surgery on me. I am so pleased at the outcome! Dr. Perlmutter is an excellent surgeon who deserves the numerous accolades from his peers. His office staff are a joy to associate with - they all offer professionalism with compassion.
It can be hard to trust any surgeon to operate on one's eyes. But you have to pick the best doctor when it comes down to the well-being of your sight. I know that I chose the finest ophthalmologist in the Capital District and eastern New York.

Dr. Perlmutter provided detailed and perfect pre and post cataract surgery instructions, verbally and written. His folks sold a compounded eye drop that combined the three necessary into one, plus a neat calendar to keep track. The surgery experience and post OP care were great. I have been seeing Dr. David Perlmutter for many years due to severe eye dryness. He's wonderful and has tried different medications over the yrs. Now I have been seeing Dr. Ebbing in the same practice due to his specialty in severe eye dryness. He is very good also. He is thorough and recently put me on a new medicated drop called Miebo. I use it in combination with Hydro Optase Night Gel and it has helped so much! Would recommend these products and this practice. They are always busy, so sometimes there is a long wait before you actually see the doctor, but so worth it.
