Marta was wonderful and made the process quick and easy. I had a few additional questions about what my insurance would allow and she was able to answer all my questions thoroughly. She is very knowledgeable about glasses and additional features that could help me; I gained much insight from her.
The doctor who saw me (female, dark hair, glasses- I forgot her name) was also kind and very helpful. The entire process and staff who helped me were quick & efficient and I can't wait to get my new glasses!

So, I came in to the Albany Visionworks officein Northway plaza on Central Ave to have a screw repair done. Nothing big. I sat in a chair for 30
minutes while the workers walked around me like I was not even there. The only person who even acknowledged my existence was the receptionist Jennifer. I watched both the black optician and the white alike who by the way were waiting for clients to pick out glasses. Keep walking around me like I did not have a need. The area where I was sitting is where they must go to retrieve folders for clients after doctors exams.
Neither optician after being informed by the receptionist that I needed assistance even said... " We will be right with you".
Sad on customer service.

This is the best Visionworks in the area. Nancy Zander the eyeglasses tech is wonderful - friendly, energetic, and helpful. I told her that she is by far the most helpful person who has ever helped me pick out glasses. I have many issues with finding glasses that fit my wide face and low nose bridge, and she was so helpful giving feedback about frames and options, and also adjustments that could be made. She gave me honest opinions and found lots of options to try until we both agreed it was the right fit. Such a total pro. The younger front desk lady with dark hair who wears it up is also always so nice and professional to everyone. I mistakenly tried going to the location closer to home (East Greenbush) and it was a TERRIBLE experience. I worked in service many years and as a point, never criticize even poor service. The customer service at the East Greenbush location was SO BAD, I walked out 10 minutes later. I will only go to this location. Their staff is patient, kind, helpful and they give you all the options - the BEST!!

I would love to thank Jennifer for being so patient and kind even with the extreme overflow as I came in to get a pair of replacement glasses due to my puppy chewing my glasses there was a misunderstanding with my profile and Jennifer was very patient and happy to help get it situated.... Also would like to give Marta her flowers as well for remaining polite and multi tasking to help me as she was busy helping a coworker very amazing woman who handles stress and demand very well hoping I spelled her name correctly as I just wanted to add her in for her very polite service with it being hard to come by in this day and age thank you ladies Happy Holidays !!!

They were running late and didn't inform me causing my family to miss gift cards for groceries during this federal shutdown! As of 1/29/26 I returned to this location to have an exam done for myself. They have hired an optometrist on site and the difference is amazing. The staff were very well functioning and my previous encounter has been corrected and upgraded! Great job giving better care. Specifically to Claire Bianchi OD, Jennifer the technician and Renee on the front end! Thanks ladies!
