Optique Vision

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Go to another eye doctor. I waited 5 weeks for the appointment, but when I arrived it wasn't in the system (that day or any day), even though all my background information was correct. So clearly someone forgot to hit the save button when we scheduled the exam. This appointment was an hour drive in heavy rain. While I waited for the receptionist to continue starring at her computer, I got to read the many printed notices to patients that were taped around the office. These notices were obnoxious to say the least. Including a large note saying that if you dared to be cranky they would add a $50 fee to your bill as a fine for bad behavior. When I pointed out that this seemed less than professional I was told in a terse tone of voice that it was joke, that most people "got it", and "... if you had to deal with the people that I have to deal with all day long then you would get it too." This complete lack of professionalism might be okay in a dive bar, but I find it unacceptable in a medical environment where the office is interacting with patients. This is an office that deserves a zero rating.

This was by far the most pleasant experience with a doctor I have ever had. I went in early to fill out paperwork and the front end was amazing. They explained everything that needed to be filled out and was really nice. Then I went back with Dr. Vuong. He is the most approachable professional I have met. He was very nice and explained things in detail during my appointment. I was very anxious about my eye exam and he helped with it all! I recommend this entire practice to anyone.

I had many problems. Let me begin with people in front desk. The had me pay cash without telling me I could use my Medicare Advantage card to file a claim with CDPHP. Then the goof lady later submitted a claim directly with CDPHP in June of 2024 and got denied few times. I just got word from CDPHP that Optique owes me a refund of my deposit payment made in June 2024! I went back recently 3/2025, and the goof does not want to give me my deposit ! Also, with Dr. Vong, he did a fast job and I had to go to NY Optical across the street to get the correct prescription. Big mess !

I had an annual eye exam a few weeks back at this location. It's very rare these days that every part of your experience at an office is pleasant but here, that was the case. From the moment I walked in, someone was diligently cleaning surfaces and wiping things down, it was very clean! Everything was very streamlined, since both receptionists were on the phone, another person offered to check me in. I filled out a form and then was escorted to the back. I waited briefly for Dr. Hunt-Moriarty. I can't speak highly enough about how thorough, kind and patient she is. Very attentive and provides ample time to listen. I highly recommend her and this office for your eye care.

My appointment was sometime in November just before Thanksgiving. Despite the holidays, they were able to see me asap. My exam was thorough and efficient, gave me eyes drops for my dry eyes and my Rx. My doctor was sweet and obviously caring, we laughed at a few small jokes. Staff is super friendly and they seem to know their patients on a personal level as well, which was comforting to see. This is going to my new office

I had an eye exam with Dr Z and he was fabulous and explained everything to me. Also VERY personable, along with his nurse and secretary. All were super nice! Will continue to go there! Thank you Optique Vision!

I went to Optique Vision because I was having trouble with my hard contacts. Not only was I rushed and overcharged, but the visit was too quick and not thorough enough to get to the source of the problem I was facing. As requested by the doctor, I changed my solution and that turned out to be an awful decision. It burned my eyes and made wearing my contacts absolutely unbearable- the worst pain I have felt from contacts. I did not wear contacts for a month. This visit made my issue more severe leaving me with more problems than I started with. After seeing a different doctor, I am now doing much better.

Had a pretty bad experience here. I went in to get an update on my contacts prescription. The equipment at their office is pretty outdated and the doctor gave me a completely wrong prescription for my eyes. The doctor also only gave me eyeglasses prescription and refused to give me a prescription for my contacts (the intent of my visit). I couldn't even see anything out of them when I finally got my glasses. I ended up going to a LensCrafters to get the correct prescription. Don't think I'd trust this location for my eyes ever again in the future.
