Dr wakil is an excellent doctor. The office staff at both the Greenville and Albany locations are the worst I have ever experienced. They seem to have no concept that they are dealing with important matters.

I like Dr. Wakil as my Eye Doctor. Very Professional and personable. I trust her completely with my eyes! Especially since I'm very skittish when anyone touches me. Tech staff are for the most part very Professional and patient. Wait time has gotten better. They do their best! I highly recommend!

Dr Wakil is extremely thorough, professional and a great surgeon.. the office seems to have changed their process for moving patients thru the different exams and tests needed to thoroughly check your vision.. and truly your eyeball. Today was in and out in an hour.. She truly saved my eye 10 years ago... she's amazing!

Please make sure before coming in for an appointment that you are aware of the coverage difference between a routine eye exam and a medical exam. They will not tell you this and you may be stuck paying a bill you were not aware of. I've had to make many calls with this office, half the time I never got a call back and I had call multiple times just to get a copy of my medical records. The billing manager is absolutely horrible. She got upset with me because I told her she was wrong in her understanding of how services are coded (she thinks what a doctor does and how the services are coded are separate of each other, which they are not; scary she believes this) and she was very unprofessional. She was incredibly defensive and kept telling me she didn't appreciate me telling her she was wrong. I was so disgusted with my experience after I was billed that this has jaded me and I would not recommend this facility.

Office staff extremely rude. Dr was fine however if she allows such rudeness I'm not returning. Treated like a thief upon returning after surgery bc they demanded a payment while standing at front desk. Very embarrassing and uncalled for. I'm not a deadbeat!

Dr. Wakil is a wonderful doctor. However, time management skills need to greatly improve. I had a 9:45 appointment and as of 11:30 I still hadn't been seen.

In addition to being an extremely competent doctor with excellent credentials, Dr. Wakil is also a kind human being who speaks directly to my elderly mother during her appointments. This is refreshing! Many physicians speak and look directly at a family member, and not the patient, and this is demeaning. My mother, although frail, has her faculties and it is a wonderful to see her treated with dignity.

This office takes forever. I wasn't even warned in advance that my eyes would be dilated and they claimed my doctor a primary care physician that would know nothing about what they are doing should have warned me. How is that her responsibility? They also told me it's perfectly safe to drive with dilated eyes which is funny because every other eye doctor I've been to ever says you have to have a driver when your eyes are being dilated. Fortunately I had someone with me. This is just a bad eye doctors office all around.
