Yearly Eye Exam 2026 Bryce provided an outstanding experience during my yearly appointment at Fichte Endl ,and Elmer Eyecare on Niagara Falls Blvd. He was professional, organized, and clearly knowledgeable about the different upgrade options for my glasses, explaining each choice in a way that made it easy to compare benefits and costs. Bryce was patient and considerate throughout the visit, answering my questions without rushing and helping me feel confident in my decision. I have trusted my eye care to Fichte Endel in Elmer for over 25 years. All of the doctors and ophthalmologists are wonderful. I'm writing this review in particular to thank Lyndsay Muto, for giving me back my ability to see. 25 years ago, I had a cornea transplant, and though the surgery was successful, it left me with very little vision in my left eye. I tried Lasik to correct it. I've tried numerous types of glasses, but nothing worked until I tried a Sclera hard contact lens. Lyndsay is highly skilled with designing and fitting people for Sclera lenses. She worked fitting and adjusting my contact lens over several visits to make sure it was perfect. Lyndsay was very patient, kind, explained everything thoroughly and was determined to correct my vision. She was able to get my eyesight to 20/20, with the contact lens she designed! I was so amazed at how different everything looked being able to see clearly. I was so grateful to her for helping me to see again that I cried. Beyond her expertise with vision, Lyndsay is one of the most empathetic and compassionate doctors I've ever worked with. Thank you Lyndsay and Fichte, Endel & Elmer. Melissa Joyce

Everyone from the Niagara Falls facility was excellent. My cataract surgery went without an issue and all the employees were extremely polite, professional and helpful. The documentation was thorough and easy to understand. Kudos to everyone at the surgery center also. Great teamwork! 5 stars to all involved especially Dr Elmer.

After having heard many positive results from friends who had cataract surgery at Fichte Endl & Elmer, I attended a Lunch & Learn conducted by Dr. Elmer. It was informative and all the staff were friendly & caring so I booked a consultation. I did have some hesitation that it would feel like an assembly line due to the number of procedures that they conduct. I was completely rest assured at each appointment that I went to that it was not the case at all. Dr. Endl performed my procedure. From beginning to the post operative check up, he was the best! He even called each night after my surgery. The Ambulatory Surgery Center in Niagara Falls is amazing and everyone is so caring. I highly recommend their practice.

Do not go here for Scleral Lenses. They charge $2500 for them. I already had a couple of previous pairs. My reason for getting new ones was that my current lenses were older and I needed an update on the prescription. I had no double vision or glare from lights at night while driving with that pair. They are the only type of contact lenses that help me with vision issues from Keratoconus. I started the process of fittings for these lenses at Fichte in May 2025. The person fitting me could not get them right. I was going back and forth there almost every 2-3 weeks. Some lenses were slightly better than the last and some were worse. On November 28th, 7 months in, I still had multiple vision issues and glare. The woman helping me stated there was nothing more that she could do and told me that my eyes are the problem and this is just the way I am going to see from now on. I explained that I had no problems with glare or multiples with my last pair the day I came in to Fichte. Just the ones she ordered. She sat there and told me that my eyes have aged and changed starting that date I came in there. She told me no contact would fix my eyes and that this is how I will see from now on. Funny thing is, I went home and put the contacts I was using prior to going to Fichte in my eyes and I have no glare from lights or multiples in my vision. I still just need a new prescription, but I see better with the old contacts. So basically I paid $2500 for contacts that I cannot see with and there is nothing that Fichte will do about it. Very sad the amount of money they make and they don't stand behind their reputation. The quality of the care I received was very poor. A very frustrating and expensive mistake.

My first time here and it was a great experience. Everyone I worked with was extremely kind and welcoming. I met with Amy H. first who clearly explained each part of the virtual eye exam as it was happening, making sure I was comfortable with the process. She took a digital picture of my eye, which was amazing and meant there was no need to dilate my eyes! My exam was performed by a technician virtually, but I would have thought he was in the room with me - honestly, Ive have glasses my whole life and there was no difference in the way the eye exam was performed. Dr. Cordova then came on and provided my results - he was easy to talk to and extremely personable, which can be difficult when performing exams virtually. Picking out my new glasses was also a great experience, the woman helping me was extremely helpful and let me know which lenses were available/better suited for my job/needs. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

I want to share what an excellent experience I recently had with Dr. Michael Endl and his entire staff during my recent cataract surgery. The entire experience from the receptionist to the nursing staff and everyone in between was exceptional. I highly recommend their services for your visual needs. All Laser LASIK surgery update: Day after surgery: 20/20 right, 20/20 left Minimal floaters/halos Minimal dryness Minimal sensitivity to light Used prescription drops, and artificial tears to alleviate any minor inflammation, dryness, and to promote healing One week post-op: Floaters/halos cleared up entirely Minimal dryness Sensitivity to light cleared up entirely Continued using prescription drops and purchased more artificial tears to keep the eyes moisturized (promotes healing) One month post-op: Started resuming normal routine, i.e. saunas, chiropractic, sleeping face down. Dryness alleviated stopped using artificial tears Almost done with prescription drops Overall feeling 10/10 as far as confidence in eyesight, and the decision to get LASIK Dr. Endl and team were courteous, and professional. Cost was reasonable and beat several competitors across the state of New York. I got this cool tshirt after the surgery. I was referred by my brother and family friends who are patients for optical and also a few received LASIK. The facility is clean and has top notch equipment.
