I scheduled an appointment with Lisa to receive contacts, and she failed to inform me that I would receive a telehealth doctor and I would have to receive a new prescription.
The appointment was scheduled for 3, I did not see anyone untill 3:20 where I met with someone for a few minutes before having to wait until 4 to see the telehealth doctor. Then after having to wait about another 10 minutes for the other person in the room to setup for the appointment, I was told that I would have receive a new prescription, and the price of the appointment was doubled.
That is when I left, I was not informed of any of the features of the appointment when scheduling, nor did anyone mention my lack of correct prescription until after already waiting an hour and speaking to many staff members.
I would not recommend you go to vision works for any type of appointment unless you want to completely waste your time.

The staff were super nice and friendly, but I was there for 3 hours and still left without getting to order my glasses. That would have been an additional 20 minutes that I didn't have to wait. The video conference with the Dr was what took forever. Technical problems and buffering. The actual exam was quick and easy, but the constant delays due to technical issues made me miss an in person optometrist.

Here are my honest gripes. The office is clearly understaffed. I waited an hour and ten minutes just to be seen by a "virtual" doctor using telehealth, in which I had not been alerted to. During that hour two employees had time to gossip behind closed doors while we waitief anxiously. The "virtual" doctor could not identify why my vision has changed so much and gave me a pair of trial contact lenses that are TOO big and leave me seeing crosseyed. When I pointed that out, she said "oh it will take 7 minutes for you to adjust". Yeah? Well it's been an hour and I am still seeing double vision. Visionworks as an entirety has gone downhill, and it's a wonder that they are still in business. Go to a real eye doctor that doesn't operate behind a chain corporation

Done my eye exam. When I went to pick up the prescription glasses, they said it was delivered. I asked delivered to who? Now she said she doesn't know. I thought picking up glasses doesn't gonna take more than 5 minutes, I left my car running. But it took forever for her to come and speak with me.Then they said they gonna deliver my glasses to my address. I never received it.

Absolutely horrible place. Had appointment for ten in the morning, but they messed it up and forced us to come back 3 hours later, then the appointment itself took 2 hours because their machines were breaking, and they don't have a real doctor, you can only meet with a virtual one. The manager is horrible and won't even do anything to help you. I just wasted 6 hours of my day at this absolute dump. They need to close down.

Made an appointment online and the soonest slot was 6 weeks out, fine.
The appointment was for 2:40pm but said to show up 15min prior to appointment. Got there right at 2:25. It took 2hrs to get out of there. I wasn't brought into the eye exam for over an hour and it would have been more than 2hrs if I had used my insurance benefits to get glasses/contacts. I couldn't wait anymore and just took my prescription and left. I work 12hr overnight shifts, had woken up early, and had to go back again that night. What is the point of making an appointment?
I can gladly say I will not be coming back to this location. That is just ridiculous and I know it's not a one time thing. My mother used to take me there as a child and it's somehow worse. No thanks.

Terry was a sweetheart and knows what frames will fit the person. She goes out of her way to be helpful. Unfortunately my face was not a fit since the majority were too large for me. Terry ended up finding a pair that will fit my small face and "silver " vibe.
