Dr.Selbert is amazing. He checked my eyes thoroughly and checked for glaucoma. I prefer the old eyes testing machine to the new stuff they have out there nowadays. Even made sure I got the right glasses and they are in burgundy.I highly recommend seeing him if you want it done right.

Read my entire review for the good & the bad: The bad: I have attempted to get a written script for my contacts and glasses from his office over the course of 4 months, 3 visits, and 6-8 phone calls over the course of 5-6 weeks. I've spoken to this secretary (Donna) who assured me everytime it would be mailed out to me (even when I offered to come pick it up in person.) Then I spoke to Dr. Selbert himself the last two phone calls who did not recall my prescription, did not recall me coming in for my final fitting, and did not recall (on the last phone call) me calling a week prior and speaking to me about mailing out my prescription, and did not recall that I had purchased contacts already from him in my new prescription. I hesitated to leave this review as I hate to bash local businesses, but I still do not have my prescription. At this point I give up, and I really think Dr. Selbert has an issue handing prescriptions out, and wants everyone to purchase their eyeglasses and contacts from him; it is illegal in NYS for him to withhold my prescription (and/or my health records) from me. I ended up paying $15 to take an online test to verify my prescription so I could have a written script with the freedom to fulfill my disposable contact lenses where I like. AVOID if you are going to want a written prescription. Next year I'll be on the hunt for a new eye doctor again - which is unfortunate. But I feel Dr. Selbert gave me the run around on purpose. The good: Dr. Selbert is an excellent eye doctor. He takes his time to fine tune your prescription to make sure it is more than accurate.

After apparently years of wearing the wrong prescription Dr. Selbert got me some new lenses and a lifetime of migraines has finally stopped!!! The most adorable little old man but definitely at the top of his game!!

Absolutely loved this office, he was very polite and listened. You don't ever see offices like this anymore. Receptionist was amazing also, overall a very welcoming place!

I had a great experience with Dr. Gary Selbert. He really took the time to listen and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He was thorough, explained everything clearly, and genuinely cared about helping me understand what was going on. It's not easy to find a doctor like this anymore--I highly recommend him.
