To whom it may concern: Today I am once again at this optical center, trying to get an update regarding my eyeglasses, which I ordered on November 18th and have still not received, despite being told they would be ready within 10 days. I am unable to get any clear information. The owners are nowhere to be found, and the only person present is the same lady who, from the beginning, has shown a rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional attitude, refusing to provide a solution or coherent information about my glasses or a refund. Due to the complete lack of response, I am now forced to remain here waiting for the police, whom I have already contacted in order to help resolve this issue. I am adding this statement so that any person with authority in this store, including the owners or an actual manager, can take immediate responsibility for this situation. On November 18, I placed an order for a frame with my prescription, and I was informed that it would be ready within approximately 10 days. However, it has now been over 15 days, and I have not received any update or resolution. Throughout this entire week, I have tried to obtain information about my order, but I have not received any calls, follow-ups, or communication from your staff. Additionally, the woman working at the store --who claims to be the manager-- has treated me inappropriately. Her behavior has been: * Rude * Intolerant * Disrespectful * Inconsistent with the information provided * Unwilling to help or offer any solutions I am extremely concerned about the lack of professionalism and the complete absence of communication regarding an order that is already significantly overdue. I kindly request that someone responsible contact me as soon as possible to resolve this matter and ensure the immediate delivery of my glasses or an appropriate alternative solution. Avoid this location. I made an appointment two weeks in advance only to arrive and be told they don't accept my insurance--despite being explicitly told over the phone that they did. Only after I pushed for clarification was I informed that this location is a franchise and can selectively decide which branches of an insurance carrier they accept. That very important detail was never mentioned when I called. Instead, I was immediately pitched an out-of-pocket option: pay a minimum of $120 and they'd "generously" waive the $75 exam fee. Meanwhile, I actually have insurance that should have been accepted had they been upfront. This was a complete waste of time and feels intentionally misleading. There are multiple local optical providers literally across the street--do yourself a favor and go to one of them instead. I certainly will next time. Lesson learned

Came for a DMV-required vision test, was in and out in less than 5 minutes, and only $25. Don't normally leave reviews but I'm still amazed how easy and quick they made it. Nice people as well.

I have been coming here since I was 13 at their other location a couple of stores down - this time I came in for my grandmother who sadly has very complicated needs when it comes to glasses. Georgia is an absolute rockstar and patiently answered all of my grandmothers questions. Her wealth of knowledge when it comes to the types of lenses and how they work put my gran's nerves at ease and I was so happy with the service I decided to speed up my check up and book another appointment for myself while we were there. Thanks Georgia!

Came here for full eye test no problem quick did full test dmv test included no copay with my insurance

When the attendant saw me she said this offer would not work for me because I am not a teenager. I requested the price of an eye exam out of pocket and she told I have to tell her what I have in order for the doctor to see me. If I decided to insist for the test with the doctor she is not responsible of how much the doctor would charge me. She then continue to brag about her years of experience...very sad to see this unprofessional-ism these days. At least I had a good walk.

I called a week in advance and when I asked, I was told that they accept my insurance. So on the day of my appointment, I left work early, stopped by in person and was told that my insurance is not accepted - after deciding not to purchase my new frames there. Oh well, I'll will have another optician fill my prescription and expensive frames - Cooper Crwn in Bayside Queens. Cooper Crwn has much better quality and service.

I had a really great experience getting examined for new contact lenses. Dr. Boris was thorough and explained to me how my eyes had changed since my old prescription. He fixed a major mistake in my previous astigmatism prescription. The man at the front (I think his name was bob?) was also super nice, as was the woman whose name I didn't catch. Super easy to order lenses, and they informed me of a promotion and rebate happening at the time. I will continue to go here for my optometry needs.
