Rock n' Rescue

Adoption @ Rock n Rescue was a charming experience. Although it was very busy, yet welcoming with all the rock paraphernalia, the people there were attentive. The had these small visiting rooms. After 10 minutes, we were ready to go. Aslan walked right into the carrier as if saying, "I'm ready to go." It's been great having her home. I feel so lucky!

This organization is amazing!! Their fosters are so caring and the organization itself goes above and beyond rescuing/helping animals and putting them up for adoption. We even drove from CT to get our boy Samson because we trusted in them so much! Samson was so well behaved and sweet. He slept all the way back home, which was an hour and 1/2 (see pictures below as the first few are the ones where we were in the car heading home with him)!! The whole process was so smooth, everyone there was so sweet and they kept in constant contact via group text prior to the adoption and after. They even recommend you keeping in touch as much as you want after adoption and they are there for any questions, anytime. Highly recommend!!! I would like to add that the extremely few negative reviews are very unfair to the organization. The organization is not responsible for certain testing and it is our responsibility to let them know if there's an issue and they do check in to make sure everything is going well. ALWAYS! Nothing is 100% guaranteed and they do everything correctly on their end. They dot every I and cross every T prior to adoption. I used to do fundraisers for nonprofit animal organizations, and I can tell you that this organization is the best I've ever come across and I'm sorry that certain people had a negative experience, but it was not the organization's fault. I don't care where I move to, or where I live, I will always come back to them for my future adoptions!!

We had the blessing of finding our newest kitty from this amazing rescue! When our beloved eldest cat passed away, our other kitty was lonely without another playmate. My daughter had also been asking me for a while for a little girl kitten and in our search, we found a little kitten with HER NAME out of Rock 'n Rescue and knew it was fate! Since bringing this sweet little girl home, she has been nothing but loving, cuddly, playful, and so vocal! She immediately adapted, our other kitty fell in love in just a week, and she's the little bestie kitten that my daughter has always wanted! Miss Mochi Autumn Mae is the perfect addition and we couldn't be more grateful. I want to thank this incredible organization for their swift response to our application, its vetting process, and making us feel so welcomed and happy when we drove the two-plus hours to get her. Everyone was so sweet and kind and clearly loves animals. THANK YOU!

Officially 2 years since I got my chunky guy Coco Bean and he is living his best life, but they were great attentive and made the process of adding a second cat to my life easy! 100% recommend! Really animal loving people here!

We adopted our 1 year old boy, Bhodie (formally known as Jack-Jack) from Rock N Rescue last January. They were wonderful with communication and support when we took Bhodie home. He is now a happy boy in his fur-ever home. They are the best!

Thank you so much for giving me Mila, my beautiful Russian Blue kitty. I deeply appreciate the easy, but intentional and careful process of adopting her. Everyone was communicative and ensured I had all of the information I needed. Based on the adoption process, I had no doubt that she was well cared for by you guys. I am so glad that I was right about that. Mila is in great health after her first vet visit, and she is so so happy! She is everything I could ever dream of, and all I ever needed. No Google review can display the gratitude I have for bringing new love into my home. Thank you!!

I can appreciate that they are very busy trying to save these little guys but, I was not fond of the process. We had to select a cat(s) we were interested in before we could make an appointment to come in. (We wanted 2 and had to put a "hold" on them) It wasn't guaranteed we could see any other cats. Once we got there it was mentioned more than once that they had people waiting to use the meeting room we were in and asked if we had made a decision yet. Once we did, the paperwork and donation process was simple but rushed through. We have adopted through multiple organizations before and it's never been like this. Ultimately we are happy with our choices (although both kittens had URIs when we got home and 1 has a hernia the vet says is from birth that will require surgery ) the process was chaotic and pressure filled from start to finish. I will say, whoever does their photography for the cats does an amazing job. And each person we met there was nice even though we were rushed through. I don't think we would adopt through them again but we do love our new kitties so we appreciate that

What a great organization. As a foster mom and an adopter, I can tell you first hand how incredibly caring and organized this crew is. And they have the most ridiculous memories: a million animals come through their doors, yet they seem to understand and remember every name/ personality and medical concern (I can't do that with my own kids! ). They are an asset to the community, both animal and human, and are just THE BEST.
