Unprofessional and rude. I hate writing negative reviews, but this is well earned. Even if I read past reviews, I still would have visited them. About 6 months ago I needed a replacement screw to secure a lens to the frame for a pair of high end sunglasses. They charged $15 and did the job. However, he screw kept coming back out. Twice I was able to find it and put it back. The third time I lost it, so I returned to them for help. I explained the situation. They told me I would be charged again. I was perfectly fine with that and innocently asked how I could be sure if it happened again I would not be charged a third time? I did not get the answer I expected. In an extremely condescending fashion my question was answered with "you can consider bringing them somewhere else to get fixed'. I was floored. I thanked them and let them know that is precisely what I was going to do and left. The irony is I need glasses and would have gone to them. Now I will go blind first. In my opinion no one need to be exposed to that sort of front of house service. Way to back your work.

1st time for contact lenses. Doctor at Vision World fit me with these bifocal contacts ........ life changer. I can now see distance while driving , pick up my cell phone and see without grabbing a pair of readers. Also, pickup a great pair of Maui Jim sunglasses to wear over my contacts. Best pair of sunglasses that I ever purchased. Staff was very knowledgeable and professional.... No wonder they have been in business for over 40 years.

After two attempts at getting my prescription correct the contacts were unfortunately still off. Driving down the highway the signs were blurry on distance contacts. When my progressive glasses came in they were also blurry and not sharp. I visited an Ophthalmologist next who confirmed that the prescription was Incorrect. Although it wasn't Dramatically different, it was different Enough so that I did not get the sharpness with my glasses that I had previously been used to. I wanted to refund from vision world and to get my glasses somewhere else. They offered to Replace my lenses with my new prescription, but after the fiasco, I'd rather not work with them.

Went for new glasses couple of weeks. I found Michael to be the consummate professional Got nice w new progressives. After shopping around I found his price we're best. After picking up glasses on sat ,I was totally thrilled !

Just got an exam, contact lenses and a pair of nice eyeglasses for $99. The contacts were delivered the next day as promised. Best prices anywhere for my Oasys contacts 12 lenses for $70. extremely knowledgeable and caring staff. call them for prices on contacts before you order for anyone.

This is months over due... Very happy with the knowledgeable staff, exam, which was done in the light, after being asked what I do for a living, and leisure - i.e. am I a night owl. That made such a difference in the exam and prescription. I'm very happy - I can wear contact lenses for astigmatism for the first time and my vision is as good as it can be. Service is excellent and they had variety of frames, too. Thank you for letting me try most of them on!

Long story short, I stongly recommend that you go somewhere else - anywhere else because I have been burned by Vision World too many times. I had been a long time customer (7+ years) and at first I loved this place. However, a few years ago they could not get my glasses Rx right after several adjustments (and telling me that I was seeing something I wasn't really seeing). But I usually wear contacts - so I got used to the glasses and life went on. Last year, I went for an eye exam and to purchase contacts. AFTER the exam, they broke down the prices for me in which their price for contact lenses was almost 50% higher than I have ever paid for my lenses. Then they wouldn't cover the exam under my insurance unless I bought contacts from them even though the insurance company said there was no such requirement. It ended up being cheaper for me to pay out of pocket for the exam and purchase the contacts online than get the contacts from them. From that point I decided I wasn't going back. Then the icing on the cake... I tried to make another order at 1800-Contacts before my Rx expired but I was a couple days too late. The day after I placed the order, I got a voicemail from "Mike at Vision World" (who I had never met or spoken to). In the voicemail, he felt it necessary to mention that he knew where I worked, that I had written a review on Yelp about my experience last year, and that they "[were] at 42 a box". I'm going to assume he meant that they lowered their price from $67.99 / box to $42 / box. Either way, it was an extremely...odd...voicemail and just reinforces my decision to go somewhere else for my eye care. This year I found a new place where I got my exam, glasses and contacts. I recommend to everyone that you find somewhere else to go because: #1 this place isn't a good value, #2 they have horrible service and #3 I'm quite frankly wierded out by them now.

I have been using them for years. Have no complaints..they sell good quality eye wear and are reasonably priced. I recommend!
