I recently went here for an eye exam since I was starting to feel some discomfort with computer screens. The process was smooth, and the exam confirmed I needed glasses. When it came time to go over insurance coverage and costs, Milly was fantastic. She was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining my copays, benefits, and the timeline for my order. I ended up ordering glasses from the brand PAIR with two magnetic toppers. My only suggestion for improvement would be their text alert system. I kept getting messages that my order was "ready," but in reality only the glasses had arrived, not the toppers. They did give me the option to pick up the glasses and return later for the toppers, but honestly, even though I live nearby, no one really wants to make two trips. Once the full order was ready, Emily helped me with pickup. She was quick, friendly, and even printed out a card so I could practice my reading with my progressive lenses, such a thoughtful touch that made the process easier. Overall, I had a very good experience here. The staff really knows their stuff, and while there's a little room for improvement with communication, I left feeling well taken care of and confident in my new glasses.

Here I acquired not 1, 2 but 3 prescription lenses! Americas best are becoming harder and harder to located. This one's right in the River dale area! Great amenities around places to shop and experience the Bronx. Come by.

The last time I went Remy was fantastic. This time she asked one of her co-workers to dial another branch and he acted like he was so busy and couldn't dial the Yonkers branch. They don't honor Retail Me Not discounts coupons...get this for their store which was advertised. I was offered a 10% discount for not taking the coupon. I thought that was kind of her to do but as another sales lady began to work with me I told her DONT FORGET THE 10% DISCOUNT YOUR Supervisor stated I can get and what happens.......she forgets to take the 10% off. For the forgetfulness I was given a chance to recieve something from the accessories section. I guess it wasn't my day to get glasses but got them anyway. They also didn't take my insurance David Vision thru Guardian. They don't take a lot. I think this will be my last time going there. The sale 2 for 95 wasn't bad but the salesperson I had didn't even acknowledge 2 for 69 on the website. Oh, I recieved free solution green kit for the 10% discount mistake. Thanks.

Most of the counter staff are quite helpful and will joke around with us. They will offer their help, if you go in alone and need to get a second opinion on potential frames. Then if you need frame adjustment they will readily give you one. Even on their busiest days or never feels crowded.

I would like to Thank (Milly) for making my first experience at the W. 225st location a "Great" one. Milly was very serviceable and attentive to my concerns . The Dr. that examined my vision also took his time to explain the results and provide information that was very helpful for longterm benefit. I would definitely come back again for future visits.

Dr. Cristallo is very informative and patient. Loved that great staff too! Millie is a trip! She will have you laughing! They will take great care of you. Why did I give only 4starz? All that damn clunking from Planet Fitness located right above them is annoying! But the experience overrides the annoying noises honestly.

I took my grandchild to be examined for glasses and took advantage of the 2 pairs for $89 deal. When his glasses broke we couldn't get them repaired at the previous location so I chose America's Best. The staff are so very helpful and welcoming. Jeffrey took extra time to find a frame that my grandson's lenses fit so that he wouldn't have to go to school with a broken, taped up frame. I truly appreciate the extra care they showed.

I got the wrong glasses, the frame is loose, too big for my face & after I left the store, I notice I had to lift the glass up off my nose to read, im disappointed. The one I choose is a smaller frame glass & it was snog to my face. Im taking them back tomorrow thrusday 2/19/26. If they give me a hard time, ill let you know
