Dr. Anne Barmettler, MD

I had a bilateral eye procedure with Dr. Anne Barmettler, MD on October 3, 2025, and I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and care. From my first appointment to my post-op follow-up, she has been thorough, attentive, and reassuring. Dr. Barmettler explained every step of the procedure clearly and made sure all my questions were answered, which put me at ease before surgery. Her skill and confidence in oculoplastic surgery showed throughout the entire process -- even at my post-op visit on October 7, she confirmed my eyes are healing beautifully and will look even better as recovery continues. Dr. Barmettler's professionalism, compassion, and experience made all the difference in my care. I truly feel blessed to have had her as my surgeon. I highly recommend her to anyone needing ophthalmic plastic or reconstructive surgery.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Dr. Barmettler. My eyelid surgery was more than 2 years ago and my left lid is still drooping. Additionally, my right cornea was scratched during the procedure which led to 9 months of treatment. I have no confidence in this doctor and will seek further treatment elsewhere .

I started my journey back in November 2022. I was dealing with complex issues within myself. I hated what was looking back at me when I was in front of a mirror. I started to do research on a doctor who will be able to help me. I found Dr. Barmettler and had my first consultation. She was very through and very honest on what she was comfortable doing on my eyes. I was scared but ready to start the second part of my journey. (1st part was quitting smoking) my first surgery was scheduled for November 2022. She was amazing I didn't feel much discomfort after my producer I looked like hell but I was feeling good on what I was seeing. Then I had my post opt appointment and we both agreed that it was healing nicely. I wanted to jump right back into the next step but Dr. Barmettler would not do the next procedure because she felt my eyes weren't ready. I was sad but totally understood. She made me wait 6 months they we would revisit. So after my visit she said I was ready. So we scheduled my next session exactly one year later. I was so ready and again she did not disappoint. Her hands were my blessing. I am still in the healing process but you can see for yourself what she was able to do for me. So I thank you so much Dr. Barmettler you are such an amazing doctor. Dr.Barmettler is amazing! I had surgery on my top eye lid and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! You can tell when someone is very passionate about their work. I felt very at ease and she explained everything so well. Truly appreciate her! She really takes care of her patients! Thank you! Definitely would recommend!

OMG.My surgery has improved my quality of life . I am so thankful to Dr. B, I had no pain, some swelling and black and blue for less than 2 weeks. But my eyes are looking beautiful!! I told Dr B , God bless your hands, so she can continue making others happy and beautiful. Dr. B, deserves 10 stars

as far as I'm concerned she is the best out there.around my eyes and eyelids was a mess. she did beautiful work on me, and I'm a fugly guy..haha...Her studies are far and wide ( all over the world ). needless to say, Im impressed by this Lady..She has my vote every day..If you go to her...Tell her Hi from me..

Dr Barnettler did a fantastic job with my eyelid surgery. My sight improved dramatically with less droopy eyelids and the surgery seemed painless As a side benefit, my appearance improved as well Dr Barnettler has been attentive and caring Thank you Dr Barnettler!
