Envisage Optical - Allerton

Is there any worst costumer service? I hope no!! Not only the costumer service was disgusting but the personnel also looked poorly groomed and ignorant. The selection awful and prices in the sky. Do not waste your time there, those people do not want to sell, and I feel sorry for the owner. Update: Owner response is misleading. I only went to the store ONE TIME- this was few days prior to writing the review. No purchase was made and never came back after the fact.

The only nice thing about this place is the doctor and this is why I will give you two stars. He was super cool and so nice. I went there because of a friend. He told me you had a huge selection of eye glasses and that the service was fast. First, your selection is very limited. I asked for Prada or Dolce and you guys didn't have this. I was going to buy two frames and in the end only bought one. I have a huge gripe with your two week waiting period to receive the glasses. My service date was 3/13 and I got the glasses on 3/28. I took the prescription I got from your office and went to a place by my job in midtown. I went there on 3/16 to pick frames. I was told I would have the glasses by 3/20 and instead got a call the morning of 3/17 saying they were ready. They did this overnight! Two weeks is totally unacceptable. Will not be visiting you again.

The phone goes unanswered and today I realized why, the receptionist makes personal calls on the office phone. I went there 3 times to purchase glasses for my daughter and for whatever reason, yesterday (monday 4/17/2023) they closed at 4:30pm. This morning (Tuesday 4/18/2023) they didn't open at 9:30. This location wasn't even open at 10AM. Very ridiculous. (Bronx location, Allerton ave)

The wait time is ridiculous even if there's no customers. The "gentleman" that eventually comes out to assist you is then busy telling you how gorgeous you are and if he had more customers that looked like you, he'll like coming to work. Awkward. He did a poor job with my lenses so I must return unfortunately. Hopefully I won't endure any more sexual harassment. Stay far away from here.

The wose optical of all times!! Nasty attitude with customers and make it a living hell for the client to get their prescription. Asked her to please email me a copy of my prescription since I no longer live in the state. She wanted to fax it and not everyone owns a fax machine, knowing an email address is more secure than a fax. Will never spend my money in this place.

Dr. Alphonso has been our family optician for many years. I just called to make an appointment for my 4 member family and was told we would have to make two trips to see him because their new policy only allows them to reserve only two slots. That's absurd, I have done this in the past and as a busy mom who works and have kids doing extra-curricular activities this is ridiculous. So I guess I'll have to find a new family optician.

I have no idea why people be giving out negative reviews for this place, The eye doctor is probably the nicest and mostly HELPFUL i ever saw, The receptionist is very polite and very very nice. I would give a 5 * anyday and allday to them.

Allerton Branch-Dr. Hernando Alphanzo is a very caring, kind and great Optometrist. He treat his patients like family. It hard to find optometrist of his caliber and knowledge. He takes time to work with you and get you what you need. I will always go to Dr. Alphanzo for my eye care needs.
