Customer service, from the ladies at the counter that assist with frames and lenses, is horrible. They try to persuade you to buy the most expensive pair of glasses and lenses. They will not offer to show the frames that are covered by your insurance unless you ask. The selection of frames at this location is very poor. The bathroom was out of service and the staff wouldn't allow the well paying customers to use the staff bathroom. The wait time is ridiculously long. The only good thing about this place is that the doctors are great with the eye exams and my prescription is always perfect. Unfortunately, because of all other factors mentioned, this may be my last time patronizing this location.

I've been there 3 times. Each time I went there the service got worse. The last time really irritated me as I chose a pair of glasses for myself and my daughter. As I was letting the lady behind the counter know what I wanted the lenses to include such as transitions, anti-glare, etc. I did not realize that she was placing what I wanted for my glasses on my daughters glasses as well. Unfortunately, I realized it when I got home. I spent the most money I have ever spent on my glasses and my daughters glasses came up to be slightly less expensive than mine. They also try very hard to hide the customer's prescription from them. I guess they are afraid you might go elsewhere and get glasses. I am not going back there as I am sure I can find some place else with better prices for frames and one that is more honest.

I was referred to Vistasite eye care by my son's PCP, when I arrived for his appointment I was asked to fill out paperwork with my son's information which is normal because it was his first time there. I finished the paperwork and was glad we didn't have to wait too long to be seen. This is where things took a turn for the not so pleasant experience. We were escorted to the back where we met with the Dr., the first thing she asked me was what was my son's insurance, I told her what insurance he had and all she said was "we don't take that insurance so I won't be able to treat your son today unless you pay $154 for the exam." I have never in my life felt so uncomfortable with any doctor as I did with her, she was so rude and acted as if it was my fault that they didn't take the insurance. I informed her that It was OK and that I'd find another doctor who took his insurance. She than proceeded to say that she would do a routine check and got out her little light flashing it in my son's eye. My son is 4 years old and has developmental delays so sometimes he has a hard time understanding things and people, especially people he doesn't know. Instead of being patient with him the way I thought a Dr was supposed to be she kept getting upset saying he doesn't listen and she can't work with him. That wasn't the case he was just afraid of her!! She was just downright mean!! Then she made my son cry by saying she was going to go get someone to give him a shot if he didn't tell her what letter he was looking at. Afterwards she told me I wouldn't be able to tell you anything because he doesn't listen, he would need to get his eyes dilated. I just said OK hoping to just get out of that room and comfort my baby. Well I finally found a great doctor to treat my son but the wicked witch Dr from Vistasite eye care who didn't accept my son's insurance and couldn't work with him because he didn't listen still billed my son's insurance company saying she treated him!! So he was unable to get treated for his eye by a Dr that could have actually helped him and done something for him so he didn't have to suffer any more.When I called Vistasite eye care to try and resolve the issue she came on the telephone line and said that basically she took out time to see my son and that they were not a free clinic. So now I understand how it is... Not every Dr. cares about people's health or well being, they just want to make sure they get their money.even if it means my son has to sacrifice being treated by a Dr. That actually cares.that lady is the worst Dr, and should not be allowed to work with children. She has no Patience and no kindness whatsoever. She really is a wicked, witch

Went in to pick up mine n my boyfriend glasses. No one greeted me. Lady who helped me was very professional n found mine n my bf glasses quickly. Her associates on the other hand took her pen before I was done signed for both glasses without mine or her assisted permission then a young African American customer came in n was completely ignored. He walked out without being greeted or even looked at. Get it together love my glasses but will not support again unless there is better respect n overall common sense. Not faulting the lady that helped me they need to learn from her!!!

The office is very nice, clean and modern which is what originally caught my eye driving by. However the ladies behind the glasses counter stood around laughing at Videos on their cellphones and gossiping the whole time I stood there looking at frames. I asked the African American lady with short hair could she please help me and wanted her opinion on some frames for her to tell me a pair did not look good because I was pale which totally took me back. All while the other employee with grey hair laughed. I was embarrassed and was just ready to go. Will be getting my prescription and finding a new office immediately. Management should have a rule no phones while working the floor especially while a customer is at the counter, it's very unprofessional and takes away from the customers experience.

The reception staff leaves a lot to be desired as far as professionalism and knowledge. I only say this because I called in to get an emergency visit due to my daughter having a minor accident and was told to just come in and that my information couldn't be taken over the phone due to HIPA law. I explained that my daughter was already a patient there and that made no sense because how else would people be able to make appointments? I finally arrive to the office and I give the receptionist my daughters name and they have to go fishing for the file ( which is what I was trying to avoid by calling ahead) so they find the file and a young lady called my daughter and proceeded to do a routine eye exam! No questions to me asking why I'm there or anything since it was a walk in. Annoyed the doctor looked at my face and immediately came over and when I explained he completely understood and took so much care and concern with my 8 year old and in the end I was truly pleased! I think that the reception needs to take time on the phone with the patient instead of rushing them off so that they can continue whatever conversations they are having with each other.

The place was well kept however the glasses and services are too expensive. I've been wearing glasses all my life and never experienced the prices I was told. They lied about the benefits of my insurance and tried to make me pay $250 for lenses, which are actually free with the insurance, and then 250$ antiglare (a total of 500$ just for the lenses not adding the frames). My sister went days prior and paid $90 for an eye exam and when I got there I only paid $50. There is no consistency and all the women working in the front seem to be lost and don't know what they are doing. I would never go to this location ever again. In conclusion I went to another location and got my glasses and lenses free of charge.

I say 0 stars! Jesse the main receptionist has a horrible attitude! I want to speak to the manager on how she can work on her bedside manner. My issues was I got my glasses and the prescription was incorrect! You can forget about a refund that's out of the question.. Jesse told me I had to wait and there were 4 people ahead of me. She was unwilling to accommodate and made it feel like it was my fault that the prescription was wrong. When I finally saw the doctor to get a new prescription she was rolling her eyes at me. Jesse is unprofessional rude and in the wrong field. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is racist and only cater to their Hispanic clients. Trust me I will not be going there ever again.. Back to Cohen's...
