Henkind Eye Institute

Pediatrician sent my son day before to go to this eye clinic and we waited for almost 4 hours just to speak to medical assistant who assesses patients before they are seen only to have to wait again in the waiting room. This place is insane. Over 75 people in this waiting room and you can't walk out to feed your child because if you miss when they call you then the wait is even longer. Somethings got to give. This wait is just as bad as the emergency room wait. Over 10 people with walkers and 5 or so baby carriages with maybe 80+ chairs. They come out to call names and if you do not hear them call you then too bad. They need to use overhead systems or speakers to call names because it starts to get a little loud in this place after lunch time and people have been waiting that long. Terrible. Will def look into other places because this is beyond bad. By the end of this appointment we spent 7 hours waiting and 30 minutes to finally see a doctor : (

Make you come in at 9am. Keep you waiting for 5 plus hours before a very minor surgery. Follow-ups expect to be there 2-4 hours and no one gives a damn. You either take it or leave it because complaints fall on deaf ears. They overbook patients. Then they give patients attitude when they have to deal with sll of them. The orst I have ever seen at a doctors office.

The worst eye clinic I've ever been to, no matter how early I show up for my appointment they tend to keep me there for too damn long! The staff is very unprofessional and back in 2010 when I was at my glaucoma appointment, it was scheduled for 8AM and the nurses had a tendency of taking patients that came after me before me and it wasn't fair, and they always had a bad habit of misplacing my chart whenever I come to the glaucoma appointment. Meanwhile when I came to my visual field or other appointments, my chart was easily to be found. This clinic needs to be shut down or the staff needs more training on professionalism, I'm glad that I stopped coming to this clinic because of the waiting time and lack of professionalism the staff has. Don't waste your time coming to Heinkind Eye Institute because its not worth it. I was once a patient there and I'm glad to find another eye clinic 8 years ago

To me it was great service because l didn't have to wait a long time to see the eye doctor . Okay thank you .

Medical care here is satisfactory, but the wait time is so bad for non emergency appointments you'd want to just forget about seeing the doctor.

Ridiculous wait time. Place is overcrowded.. you should expect to be there all day... ridiculous

Be ready to wait more than 3 hours for simple revisions.
