Optical General Vision

I purchased a pair of glasses for $900 from this business back in April/May. A few months later, I noticed the left lens had become cloudy. I took them to a nearby eyeglass place, and they immediately informed me that the lens was defective -- but since I didn't purchase them there, I had to return to the original location. I contacted the place I purchased them from and explained I don't live nearby -- I live upstate -- but I'd come in when I could. Fast forward to September, I finally made the trip in person, only to be told there was nothing they could do because too much time had passed. Their solution? Pay another $400 (on top of the $900 I'm still paying off) to replace a clearly defective lens. This is completely unacceptable. There was no care, no accountability, and certainly no concern for customer satisfaction. Instead of standing by the quality of their product, they chose to offer a measly discount and blame the customer for their defective merchandise. The service was dismissive, condescending, and felt more like a cash grab than a reputable optical business. I would not recommend this place to anyone -- especially if you value long-term customer support or expect your expensive eyewear to last more than a few months.

Got my first pair glasses here I love them! They also do maintenance for me if I need them tightened or a small repair for free. I already got my second pair coming and I'm so hooked. They also have great plans for financing. The glasses are brand name here so they're really good quality. They give a small gift to clean them after you receive them. Definitely recommend.

Tried Ripping off my GrandMother, also prices a at a premium so you'll be paying a couple dollars more for a pair of glasses that you can find cheaper at other near by locations. Even Manhattan has cheaper prices then this place. Please shop at your own risk!

I paid $1160.00 for 2 pairs of glasses and got an incorrect pair.
