Best Eye Doctor, Galina Benimovich, OD

Great atmosphere, great staff, know how to interact with customers in a personalized way. Helped me get in an order of contact lenses that came in just a few days. They also had sunglasses here, and I got my first prescription pair and they look AWESOME, I get tons of compliments on them. Good spot in Brooklyn.

I have been going to this optical for three years now.. i think each time has been worse but this is my last time. Last year i waited literally 6 hours to be seen & i needed glasses that bad that i waited.. Today i was discriminated on due to my insurance. I watched nikki (the one with the long black hair) take care of two older ladies whom had to pay out of pocket $1100 & $200.. and the one that was $1100 she helped her pick out glasses for atleast 45 minutes, The other lady whom was paying $200 out of pocket she helped for atleast 15 minutes. When it was my turn and i had an appt and waited over 3 hours just to be seen.. she stated to the glasses, i told her i like big glasses.. her reply was i can come back or something cause she isn't waiting another 30 minutes.. i feel like she discriminate because of my insurance and i wasnt paying out of pocket..

Wait time for me appointment was practically non-existent and on time. Hard to find a place in Brooklyn where you don't have to wait over a half hour to get your eyes checked out. The optician is super friendly and makes the entire exam a breeze. Highly satisfied with my experience here.

They made sure to quickly replace a pair of glasses I had where the prescription was off. Not once were they rude or stand-offish when I bought up the error. I even got a coupon that I used to get a pair of sunglasses. They are sincere, knowledgeable and care about their customers!

Love the staff here, they are always friendly and helpful. The optician here tons of experience, given how fast he can get through so much during the exam. I appreciated the amount of communication during my exam, as all the readings and insights he took away were explained in a way that made sense to me. Five stars.

Dr. Galena Benimovich is the best eye doctor in Brooklyn. She does a through examination. She explains everything with compassion and care. I recently took my daughter to get her eyes checked at My Optician by Dr. Benimovich and she was so kind to her. Thank you for running an amazing clinic!

The name says it all. I am always greeted immediately upon entering their location in Brooklyn, and asked if I need any assistance, which I usually do unless I'm just meandering through their selection of frames (a common habit of mine). They have fixed my glasses same day on multiple occasions.
