Brook Plaza Ophthalmology: Lish Adam MD

The staff is great and they are very thorough. His fees are a bit excessive. There is always a co pay plus an additional amount is billed in the mail. I never understood why all fees could not be charged upon services being rendered. Additionally, how could they allow an 81 year old person to sit outside waiting for a pick up for over 2 hours in 93 degrees temperatures? Why would a patient feel so uncomfortable, believing that there is no space for them to wait inside? They should make it possible fit patients to wait inside until they are picked up. This happened on two separate occasions. This to me is deplorable behavior.

First, i like to express my gratitude to the staff at Brook plaza, and they are some of the most wonderful, pleasant, and proffessional people my father and I had the chance to have known. My father, and I are patients of Dr Lish, and on my recent visit, I was not satisfied with the way in which I was addressed ,and treated by Dr Lish, with regards to the treatment plan. I feel that all patients should be treated fairly, lines of communication between patients and Doctors should be cordial and respected. It's hard enough to hear from my ophthalmologist of 7 years that my eyesight might possibly take a turn for the worst; especially, if it was not told to me on my last visit, a month ago. I'm aware that my vison situation is something serious and should care for in an emergency front. I definitely know that there's a possibility of that happening, my eye sight taken a toll, but the way the message was delivered was not expected. 0ut of the blue for the first time I'm hearing a new diagnosis and Dr Lish expected me to not react, instead , talking over me, and not allowing me to ask questions. I felt insulted, and disrespected . Let me say truthfully, he is not usually like that. However, that visit will remains in my memory for a long time to come.

Dr. Lish and his staff got me through a difficult time while I was preparing for glaucoma surgery. My surgery was successful largely because of the care I received from Dr. Lish.

Long time patient of Dr. Lish. He is an outstanding doctor with a wonderful staff to match.
