I was seen promptly, the doctors were knowledgable and had a good bedside manner, and the office was clean. The reason I'm giving this one star is because it took me 7 hours and 6 calls to get them to properly send my prescription to the pharmacist. I can't remember a time I ever went to any doctor--general or specialist--where I had to ask them more than once or twice to send over a script. It sucks because this place is convenient and if they cared a whit about this stuff I'd see them regularly for eye care. However, I won't be back.

Love the female eye doctor, I saw she's been great

I went to the Brooklyn Eye Center for the first time today. The receptionists were pleasant and the staff conducting the eye exams were fantastic. They were very nice and explained everything they were doing. Dr.Priya Shah was so nice and knowledgeable. If I need an ophthalmologist again I would like to see her. My only issue was that most of the patients were not wearing masks . I guess it isn't required anymore.

I booked an exam for a new contact Rx based on my vision insurance showing they were in network. When I showed up for the exam, I was told they wouldn't bill my vision insurance and that as of last week, they are no longer doing contact exams. I was given the option to do a glasses exam or cancel.

The service at this eye center is absolutely horrendous. I've been trying for weeks to get my contact and glasses prescription, and it was very difficult to get them to pick up the phone, much less send this to me. Once I had this, they told me they would order my contacts, and I later found out they never did. I've tried repeatedly to call to find out the status on this and they always say they have to wait until next Wednesday to consult with the eye doctor, and then they never call me back, and when I finally get through, it turns out they never spoke with the doctor and I have to wait another week. I would absolutely not go here. Patients are not treated with respect, and this is not a patient centered practice. If you'd like to actually have glasses or contacts, this is not the right place to go.

I have been here 3 times with my mother, each time we waited at least 1.5 hours to be seen by a doctor. The first time they sent us home after 2 hours waiting and told us that our insurance provider said we were not in the system. I called my insurance immediately right after they said we were. The front desk people could not be less helpful. They do not verify your insurance information before you come in they do it right at the moment when you are already here. And they say that verifying my insurance eligibility is helping me. The point to make an appointment is to save their doctor's time but not yours. So if you have a full time job and don't want to waste your time here then you should avoid this place. - Follow up after 1 week. So after we reflected the front desk inefficiency, dr. Feig personally apologized for the inconvenience and really made sure that we were heard and give us a lot of assist on my mother's cataract surgery. Dr. Feig is clearly very competent and act on his words. We had a very good experience get my mom's eyes seeing and treated despite the earlier disappointment. I definitely recommend Dr. Feig to anyone who wants a highly competent doctor who cares not only about your health but your also your entire experience from walking into the practice.

Made appointment and they forgot to tell me they relocated 30 blocks away. The appointment was made with Dr, Feig. But when arrived, I was told he was on "Vacation" and I saw Dr, Fay? A cold uninterested detached sort. I asked about a cyst I've had inside my eye for weeks. She looked thru her equipment and didn't say a word. Finally, she recommended I see a surgeon.... Why, I asked, just to look at it, she replied. Any idea what it is that I have in my eye? She didn't know...... NEVER coming back to this place..... not recommend.

GM, My friend/client had an 11:40 am appointment today. When we arrived early (10:45 am) he checked in at the front desk and was told that he will be called at his appointment time. He was actually called at 10:55 am which was great, he's a patient of Dr. Rastogi and trust his judgment and experience since his eye surgery on both eyes.
