I visited Dr. Berman on the recommendation of my primary care physician due to my severe condition. Initially, I was quite nervous, but seeing that Dr. Berman was familiar with all of his patients and even knew them by name, I began to feel more comfortable. Because of the urgency of my situation, I needed an injection in my eye, which I wasn't mentally prepared for. However, Dr. Berman patiently guided me through the entire process, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. In addition to the excellent care and attention I received, it was evident to me that Dr. Berman has a wealth of knowledge and experience in his field. His expertise and professionalism were apparent, and he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns in a way that demonstrated his deep understanding of my condition. Although my initial visit was an emergency, I was impressed by the care and attention I received from Dr. Berman and his staff. As a result, I am considering seeing him for long-term care.

I've been a patient of Dr. Berman for over two years and found that he completely well-informed, professional, skilled, caring and a well-trained ophthalmologist. He will take time with each patient to review, explain and answer all questions. Dr. Berman is truly an amazing surgeon, as I received excellent care before, during and after my surgery. The wait time maybe long, but I can't praise him enough and he's defiantly worth the wait.

I just had the most comprehensive and pleasant eye exam with Dr. Berman. He explained that my condition was very treatable and nothing to be worried about. Dr. Berman performed laser treatment and talked me through the entire process. Truly a physician's physician. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was so friendly and reassuring. There should be more doctors like Dr. Berman!

I had an initial ophthalmologist appointment with Dr.Berman on January 24, 2020. I waited for a couple of hours, but it was worth every second. Dr. Berman was very professional and polite. He took his time with the multiple examinations that he performed and explained each and every one of them. In addition, Dr. Berman answered all of my questions. This has been one of the most thorough eye exam in my life. I will be recommending him to my family and friends.

Dr. Berman and his medical staff (including Shasha, Medical Assistant) are top of the line professionals. A dying breed. I recommend Dr. Berman highly for his excellence, accurate diagnosis, on site medical and / or minor surgical procedures to be performed,. One visit , may be, all it takes to diagnose your vision problems. Dr. Berman has in his office, current medical examination and exploratory equipment. Not only will you actually see your inner eye issues, Dr. Berman will educate you on your vision problem, eye care and and follow-up. His highest attribute is that he listens to your concerns. He's also compassionate!

I have been a patient of Dr. Berman's for over 25 years. It is because of his knowledge, expertise, and applied skill set that I've kept my vision in both eyes after coming to him in desperate need of repair to retinas that were detaching in both. He has throwback type bedside manner that has largely been replaced by microwave doctoring. Where others see a copayment he sees persons in need and has the experience to meet and exceed their requirements. I will be a patient of his until he's ready to pass me on. Hopefully to someone whom he's mentored and vetted. I'm sure they'll be great but there's one Dr. Berman. I speak affectionately of course because he's watched me grow into a man and helped me to retain my sight every step of the way

Dr. Berman is a warm and engaging physician. He is obviously knowledgeable about his profession but he is also willing to talk and to listen, to share ideas and make the visit even more pleasant.

Waited literally two hours for the doctor to see me. There was a movie on in the waiting room when I arrived, it ended, then they put on My Cousin Vinny and I got over an hour into it before anyone saw me. And I am not offended by problematic language but the doctor described certain state policies as "retarded" in front of me, which seems risky in front of a new patient whose backstory you don't know.
