Carly Seidman, MD

Dr Seidman has been nothing less than accommodating to me. I've been to both offices and each time were last minute emergencies. She takes the time to cover every issue and leaves no stone unturned. Her staff is always professional and reach out before your appointment to verify insurance issues. I dealt with Sara to resolve my insurance issues and she couldn't have been nicer. I drive from Staten Island to see Dr Seidman and she is worth it.

What a wonderful doctor! Dr. Carly Friedman was so kind and answered all my questions thoroughly - something not all doctors will do! I had an emergency eye issue and am so glad I was able to see her on short notice. Will definitely be coming back.

Horrible. Never again. Your appointment time is never honor. She needs to concentrate on one field which is her private practice and stop double dibbing in other areas. Appointments are never honored and you have to wait hours and hours to be seeing. I left work early to go to my appointment and never was seeing. I lost making money from work and never getting seen. She needs to manage her scheduled appointment better. No one have time to waste.

Extremely unprofessional. After waiting two months for an appointment for a general check up (as stated on the phone) for glasses and contact lenses, I discovered only during the pre-check by a technician that Dr Carly Seidman does not and will not handle contact lens prescriptions. My previous opthalmologist did, so this was a surprise. Why are new patients not informed before they make an appointment? The office experience itself is unpleasant: There is no greeting, just someone who looks up and says, Yes? as though you offended them by walking in. In addition to your insurance information they require you to fill out, pen-on-actual-paper, detailed personal information that includes your social security number. They refuse to honor your appointment unless you hand over your credit card information for them to keep on file - this is highly insecure. Finally, they will give you no indication of what even a basic exam costs. I left before seeing Dr Seidman, but I see no reason to recommend a practise like this.

I found Dr. Carly Seidman, MD through a Google referral, and I've never looked back! The entire team is polite, friendly, and highly professional. As a first-time glasses wearer, I felt completely at ease--Dr. Seidman took the time to explain everything in depth and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I truly felt respected and cared for throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend everyone come and see for themselves!

Dr. Seidman is a very personable doctor who makes wonderful contact with her patients. She is very thorough and I feel privileged to have her as my ophthalmologist.

What a great experience! Dr. (Carly) Seidman was thoughtful, kind, and thorough. She shared her conclusions, entertained all of my questions, sought a second opinion on something she was questioning and e-mailed me back with an answer within hours of my appointment. For my own sake, I hope I don't need to see an ophthalmologist again anytime soon, but if I do I'll absolutely be going back to her!
