Dr. Cheng is the BEST! I initially started going to him because he was around the corner from my home, but have since moved further away and still come back because I like him and his care so much. He's super friendly, kind, listens to you and gives great advice. I highly recommend.

Dr Cheng is a fantastic eye doctor. My son has been seeing him for a couple of years now. When I noticed my eyesight slipping I didn't hesitate to make an appointment with Dr Cheng. He is incredibly informative, walking me through the inside and outside of my eyes and letting me know of any potential future issues, while also reassuring me. It was the first time I have seen an eye dr that actually walked me through all the different ways I can keep my eyes healthy. He really is the best.

Terrible communication and very limited hours. They disposed of my prescription glasses without any notice which were nearly impossible to pick up because they are only open for 4 hours on only a few days with an hour lunch break. They also won't answer their phone or call you back because they say it doesn't work well in the store. Awful customer service. Stay away.

Dr. Cheng is an incredible! He'll teach you so much about your eyes and will educate you! Incredible person and incredible staff! Everything was so quick and they are extremely efficient! Coolest optometrist and staff in Brooklyn and coolest optometrist office in the world!

Recently had an eye exam with DC Optics, (for both glasses and contacts) and I am a completely satisfied customer. Professional and genuinely concerned with my well being, this team answered all my questions and addressed concerns I had, and also helped me decide on the best looking glasses, for me. This office is kid friendly, clean, comfortable and has the best office mascot, Ollie, who will always make you feel welcomed and loved. If you are looking for an optician in or near Fort Greene, Brooklyn, you should LOOK no further. "Once was blind, now I see. Amazing Grace how can it be!"

I thoroughly enjoyed my eye exam with Dr. Cheng and his staff. I love learning and Dr Cheng explained all about eyes, how to stay healthy, and even took a photo of my eyes. As he was showing me my eye photo he showed examples of what to look out for which I appreciate!

I lost my glasses and I refuse to return to this office. But what I dislike about this business is that the customers can't call if they need to contact the office. I spent almost $300 dollars for my first-time eye exam, and prescription. Yet still, the customers have to email or text to communicate. I got a response two days after I sent a text. This says a lot about this business practices. Customer needs are not prioritize, not met with urgency. But you require a positive review. It's ridiculous and selfish business practices. I will no longer be about of this establishment. Seems like your dogs are more important. They are well kept in front by the register that's why you an ur staff don't have time to answer the phone. And yes, the Doctor is friendly and explains everything throughly.

Dr. Cheng is a passionate and considerate optometrist with an excellent bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone based on that alone but it's also worth mentioning that his hours are more flexible than almost any other practice in the area. Do yourself a favor and come here.
