I'm a 49 yr. old woman who suffered from strabismus that was causing both eyes to turn in, I also have a neurological condition that causes constant double vision. So having strabismus with the added double vision made everyday tasks extremely hard to do. Dr. Deutsch performed strabismus surgery on me when no other dr. was even willing to see me, they all said that it's a pediatric issue. Dr. Deutsch was able to fix my strabismus, and now l feel so much better about myself, look normal, and those everyday tasks are a lot easier for me to do. Not only is Dr. Deutsch an excellent Dr., he's also a caring and wonderful human being. If you or anyone you know has any kind of eye problem I urge you to go see Dr. Deutsch. I live in Staten Island near the Outerbridge, so it's not right around the corner for me, but I'm so glad I went to see him. He gave me hope, and results when no one else would or even cared to. No exaggeration, he gave me back a part of my life that I never thought I'd have again. I'll forever be grateful.

I was told for years that nothing can be done years and years i kept looking , to I went to a doctor and he recommended me to Dr Deutsch he let me know that the first surgery was going to be at 75 that I will need a second one with he did 2 months apart and the second was a success like he said and I thank him so much and his staff they made me comfortable in and out of surgery I recommend any and everybody to Dr Deutsch amazing work keep the smiles coming THANK YOU OVER AND OVER DR DEUTSCH YOUR THE BEST OF THE BEST

I was recommended to Dr. Deutsch by my ophthalmologist. From the 1st Day I met him was amazing! He makes you feel so comfortable and makes sure you understand the procedure you will be having. He answers any and all questions, even the ones you forget to ask. Bedside manner is impeccable. I should have been nervous about going in for eye surgery....NOPE. I was very calm and confident that is how he makes you feel. I live in queens and as I was getting off the elevator a friend of mine who also lives in queens her son just had the same surgery done the same day as I did! I'm telling you this man is amazing! Dr Deutsch is just amazing! He gave me so much hope on my first visit. I'm 3 week post-op strabismus surgery. Dr Deutsch was very thorough when explaining the procedure. He and his team took amazing care of me on the day of my procedure. He played relaxing music to calm me down before the anesthesia. How amazing! These people made me so confident going into surgery He was very available if I had an emergency or any concerns. Before I came to Dr Deutsch, a few ophthalmologist had told me that my eye couldn't be straightened due to the extent of the trauma I sustained. But Dr Deutsch believed in me. Thank you Dr Deutsch. I love Dr. Deutsch as my toddler's doctor but their phone system at the Court St location makes it impossible to get in touch with them. Option 2 to schedule an appointment, no one is ever available to answer. The option to talk to the operator, same thing, no one is ever available. The option to leave a message, no one ever calls back. I've called in different days, at different times. Moving to their new shared space with other providers makes it a little less personable in my opinion.

Dr. Deutsch is an incredible ophthalmologist. My previous eye doctor told me my eyes can't be operated on because my strabismus would go in the other direction, but I decided to get a second opinion and I was recommended to see Dr. Deutsch. He made me feel very comfortable and confident about having surgery and it was successful! I'm now about 3 months post op and finally have straight eyes. Yes, there is sometimes a long wait time but it is well worth it as he is very thorough and answers all of your questions. I have not had any unpleasant experience with the staff and people need to realize the wait is not in their control. Overall very satisfied and thankful I found this doctor and highly recommend him.
