Downtown Eyecare/ Eric Dessner MD

Dr. Dessner is an exceptional and truly empathetic doctor. He went out of his way to share information with me even when it seemed my medical issue was not unrelated to my eyes. I got a same day appointment and the staff was all professional and helpful. Location on Flatbush was clean and my appointment was right on time. It was truly one of my most memorable experiences with a doctor being kind.

This place was awesome FANTABULOUSLY AMAZING LOL ,#1.Making appointment was quick and easy! #2. The woman who answered the phone was super pleasant and accommodating!#3 The Staff b4 you get to Doctor were knowledgeable and very nice. #4 the doctor new her stuff well it was like talking to a friend.#5 All the equipment was futuristic like lol. I really enjoyed this Office it was very calming and inviting

I have gotten so much help from everyone at downtown eye care! I love how they always make sure to give you a text/call a day before your appointment so they can remind you of the appointment! They've pushed me far, and I've gotten really great care from them! 10/10 would recommend.

The front receptionist T she was sitting next the glasses . Had me wait a long time because she was busy taking a personal call. She kept saying " I'm tired being nice have them pay for their own stuff " and she saw me standing there but she didn't bother to acknowledge me. Then she started calling the insurance company to verify someone insurance. While she has her AirPods in her ears still talking to a friend. The only time she even bother to look up at me was when the doctor came in and called my name. When I left the doctor office she took my eyes measurements gave me a paper that's it. She continues talking on the phone. That was the only bad encounter I had. The doctors were extremely friendly. Edit: I came in today and spoke to the manager Jessica. She was extremely friendly and very helpful. So I decided to get a second pair of glasses with her.

I was introduced by Dr Tyler Thompson to see Dr Dessner at Downtown eyecare and to be honest i don't regret being introduced to him. Firstly Dr Dessner explained my eye problems and so i felt comfortable in making my decision to go ahead and have the cataract surgery done. This office is a very busy one and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. I would recommend Dr Dessner and his team anytime. Keep up your good work you all!!! Great staff!! My surgery was done yesterday and I'm on my way to recovery. I'm happy with outcome. Thanks to Downtown eyecare

I have been lucky to meet both Dr.Dessner and Dr.Harnos. Both have excellent bedside manners, lots of patience to address all my concerns and are very knowledgeable and professional. The office staff is very polite, helpful and accommodating. My relatives also had a pleasure to be cared by Dr. Dessner who is a brilliant in diagnosing non-trivial eye conditions and helped us a lot. Highly recommended!

Visited Downtown Eyecare recently with a painful eye infection and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff here are very nice and helpful which is a breath of fresh air. I did not wait long to see Dr. Harnos. My visit with him was very pleasant. He took the time to explain his findings in detail with me and made sure all my questions were answered before I left the office. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Jessica, is such a beautiful pleasant person to talk to and she has such a patience for the patient. And she take the time to explained everything you are growing thru when it comes to your eyes. The rest of the staff as well very pleasant, nice very welcome you. And the doctors and nurse as well. I recommend this office to everyone. Which I have already sent friends.
