I recently make a purchase of eyeglass from the 18th Ave Eye Solutions store. The experience is really bad. I make a purchase before Thanksgiving and the store promised it will be ready on December 1st. I visited the store on Dec 1st but it said eyeglass hadn't arrived. Understandable since it's during Thanksgiving time. I called in 4 days later asking about the status and the sales said my eyeglass had arrived. I went there on Friday and for my surprise, the sales told me "my eyeglass did arrived 3 days ago but they don't have time to assemble it!!!!" So I asked them to do it right away but they argue no man force to do the assemble at the moment. At the end, I wait till Monday(7 days from what eye solution promise) to receive my eyeglass. It's really ridiculous from the "Eye Solution" services, lack of responsibility and not even felt sorry for wasting customer's time. The price of eyeglass is not cheap and there are many other eyeglass store in the neighborhood. I would not recommend it to anyone.

They just cater a different type of customers now. I started to get my glasses with them since their first store in 33 Mott Street, then I've been coming to this one since they opened. They do not take walk in customers and won't accommodate you at all. Don't come here if you are self pay and not using a health insurance because there's a lot more options and better pricing elsewhere. This company has growth over the years, it's hard for them to retain old customers. Seriously, I had to wait over a month for an eye exam to get my contacts?!

The people are horrendous. They can all speak English but chose to speak Chinese when I clearly don't understand what they are saying and won't explain to me the situation in English. Although they don't say anything, their body language indicates their impatience and move onto the next person if you're taking too long.

The service was terrible. The staff name was Carman who did everything wrong. She gave me the doctor's prescription but it wouldn't match the doctor's order. When I told her, she asked another staff answer my questions. She is not qualified to do this position. If you want to run a better business, you need to find someone instead. If I wanted to give 0 stars to this location.

Great service! Staff is nice and helpful. Big thumb for the Ophthalmologist, my new glasses is PERFECT. He is very PATIENT and detailed. Plan to return next year.

To clarify before the commencement of this story, I have been coming her for many years in terms of buying new glasses and lenses . However, the experience I went through just recently changed my opinion completely. I was treated by a young associate that was utterly disrespectful. As an associate, one should know how to treat a customer let alone a human being; one's behavior represents the entire store. I remained calm but I felt stripped of my dignity and disgustingly treated as an inferior. I feel to be very generous with this rating due to the fact that another associate stepped in and treated me like a living being. I will not let this impread me from coming but I wanted to share my experience.

Excellent service every time I go to Eye Solutions located on 18th ave and 85th street. Their staff are always kinda, welcoming and extremely helpful. They took the time to help me decided which glasses would fit best according to my face and my bad vision (which played a big role in choosing an appropriate frame). One specific staff named Billy, was exceedingly helpful. He was very professional and knew a lot about the different type of frames, as well as the lens according to my vision. He was patient and very welcoming every time I came back for a question or had an issue with my glasses. I Highly recommend Eye Solutions. They also supply delicious refreshments for the customers! :)
