Love going here for all my exams and appointments. I'm at risk for glaucoma as it runs through my family, and have had concerns about my vision in the past. There is absolutely not judgment here, just a friendly, professional staff. Best optician in Brooklyn, NY.

I went here for my regular eye examination after my old optician closed up shop. Dr. Shilmov and the entire staff are very professional and cordial. I ended up not needing to change my prescription, but ended up finding a very stylish pair of shades that I got a prescription for. Good to have them in an underserved area of Brooklyn!

Amazing glasses selection and patient experience. Got exactly what I paid for, and they worked with my insurance! They also repaired my broken glasses. It's such a schlep to go to Manhattan where a majority og the quality opticians are so having them around in the Booklyn area is the best.

I bought my Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses at MY Optician when I was there for an eye exam. I also got a new pair of reading eyeglasses. They have the best selection of designer eyewear. Their diagnostic and testing equipment is state of the art too. I will be seeing the optometrist at least once per year so I can wear the latest styles and keep my eyes healthy.

I went there last week and found the selection was so great I had trouble making up my mind. I wound up with two different pairs of designer sunglasses. What a great sore for brand name eyeglasses.

Dr. Sihlmov detected a small cataract during my eye exam. He used laser cataract surgery and eliminated it. I was able to go home the same day. If I had not had the exam I never would have known it was there until it began to affect my sight. I am very happy I went to My optician NY Brooklyn and saw this eye doctor..

I thank you heaven for My optician in Brooklyn NY. My mother was diagnosed by her eye doctor with macular degeneration and is losing her eyesight slowly as she ages. I went to Dr. Shlimov for an exam and he told me that i am in the very early stages. He gave some lifestyle changes and medications that could greatly show the process glaucoma. fortunately those were negative. Hopefully by the time my condition begins to worsen which could be ten years or longer, according to him, progress with treatments will have been made.

Had a broken pair of glasses that I needed repaired pretty quickly before a major trip and went to a glasses repair shop that cost too much and said it would take a week, which was ridiculous. Brought it in here and they fixed it same day. Who knew Brownsville had such a quality optician and glasses shop?
