Horrible attitude for customer service, especially that ONE OLD MAN!! I came inside looking for frames that fit my face but the man keep on saying if u don't buy glasses then you can't touch the frames. Even when I'm finding frames for myself, he keep on following me and try to take all the frames from me and say that I'm gonna scratch the standard lens that gonna get replaced if I buy it anyways. Ended up leaving without buying, HATE IT!!
The front desk receptionist was very kind and helpful. The man at the front was rude, pushy, and was weirdly critical about the style of frames I was interested in. I have no idea how he sells anything
As other customers have posted here have said, RUN!!! Don't walk from this place. The eye doctor, Dr. Ramandeep Sandhu, and his medical staff were great. But as other customers said here the gentleman who works in the front tried to overcharge me for my new lenses. Based on the way he was speaking to me I told him I felt I was being scammed. He told me that me telling him I felt that he was scamming me was very offensive. I do not like being gaslighted. I've dealt with enough of that in my lifetime. He then became very threatening to me in that he said that calling him a scammer was illegal. I thank God I am not the only one who called him a scammer, as I see other reviewers have said the same. He then threatened to call my insurance company and report me, but I had already reported him to my rep at my insurance company. It amazes me that Dr. Ramandeep Sandhu continues to employ this man, given the negative reviews and all the negative comments about him. This has to be the worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor appointment.
As many other commenters say, RUN, DON'T WALK. Also: wish I could give them a zero.
I chose a doctor here based on great reviews. But I did not read reviews for the store :( While the staff was friendly and efficient, during all my exam, for over half an hour, a man was pacing and screaming obscenities in Russian on the phone --especially triggering for me as a Ukrainian. After my exam, the same man, still in Russian, said to me he'd assist me with glasses in 5-10 minutes. I told him I didn't speak Russian, and he asked why I was upset. I said a doctor's office shouldn't be filled with screamed obscenities. He snapped, "I'm sorry, okay? It's not a big deal!" then stormed out.
I asked the receptionist if someone else could help me. Turns out, the screamer and his father who was right outside the store were co-owners Suddenly, the guy came back, yelling, "You don't need glasses! If you have no mind, get out of my store!" His father joined in, shouting that they were Ukrainians too and could speak however they wanted on their property. I was scared of them getting closer and closer to me, I retreated into the doctor's office, but they followed, screaming, "That is my space, too! Doctor works for me! I hired him!"
I took out my phone to film their aggression, and they immediately threatened to call 911--based on other reviews, I can see it's their go-to tactic. The owner screamed, "This is what you get when you play your Ukrainian card!" I wanted for the cops to arrive and to know these guys act like mobsters. I sat down to wait for the cops but left after 10 minutes, just not wanting to spend any more time at the horrible place.
I now see he probably intended to rip me off, as other reviewers described, but when he couldn't, he resorted to screaming--great problem solving!
This optical office doesn't know how to treat customers. He try to reap me off repeating your insurance denied your payment. All other offices doctors I don't have any problem with my insurance, only this office keep repeating me the same story and don't listen my statement. This is insane as they doing business like this. Some peoples don't know how to do business and deserve the closing out forever. I give him zero start as i could, but Google don't have zero star value.
I advise all people to be careful in this office to not go, otherwise they will have the guy on phone all time reminder the payment denied, even your insurance pay them once and they want twice. I ask the owner, how much is the bill you talking about? He didn't know how much and he always saying you have to call insurance to find out, we don't know your bill. Funny and ridiculous they don't know the bill how much it is? Uhhh, to much headache and stress passing with this guy. So please don't go to this office, if you don't want to suffering from this person.
This place does not even deserve one star. The owner of the store rips you off and very expensive. He fails to follow up with customers I gave him my own Frame which I have brand new to put in lenses which he charged me for 400$ for only the lenses beside insurance coverage. He called after 10 days that my frame is broken and the lens company will not refund. Not only he broke my frame he had the audacity to say that he can't do anything for what happened to the frame. He did not refund the money that he charged for the lenses a deposit of $200 . Don't step in his store he is extremely expensive, greedy and reckless.
The problem with this store the owner/manager's attitude.
He's always grumpy mad, and almost yells at the customers, rest of the staff are fine.
He always tries to oversell you, even when you said no, I don't need this.
The eye doctor there is decent that's why they get the 2 stars.
Probably won't be going there again.
First let me give 5 stars to the Doctor, receptionist and the young lady who performs the exams you guys where amazing professional and outstanding!!!! Everything was smooth until it came time to pick out lens with the gentleman behind the counter who negative reviews are well deserved. I supplied my own high quality frames, I was met with a little I don't know if lens can be placed in frames but will try mind you I have Bose Alto frames. Then it was that my insurance does will not give him the full 350.00 allotted to me to put towards lens and frames and I will have to spend an additional 220.00 get my glasses. Gave 50.00 deposit waited 12 days called in and asked if eyewear was ready and if I could have an itemized statement ready when picking up eyeglasses was told no problem. Get to the establishment again staff is amazing warm and welcomed but seemed a little unsure of my itemized statement request but informed me that it should and will be supplied by the eyeglass salesman so I patiently wait 20min so that he can park his car. He enter the receptionist informs him that I'm here and will need and itemized receipt. He calls me over we do the fit make sure I can see better and al was well. I pay my balance of 170.00 and he proceeds to write out the receipt and I stop him with the question I asked for and itemized receipt and all hell broke lose. I don't do itemized receipt, I only paid 220.00 for the lens and he never billed 350.00 to my insurance so hes not putting the 350.00 + 220.00 out of pocket amount on my receipt, he then proceeds to tell my how long he has been taking advantage of people with this way of business by claiming this is how the insurance company works he charges us more because the insurance does not payout your full allowance. Okay let's call the insurance company on three-way and verify that you will receive your full 350.00 allotted to me. It's at this time I'm being called idiots , difficult and being yelled at for asking for within my rights and itemized receipt I asked that he deescalate and let's have a discussion with insurance to insure he will be fully compensated the 350.00 promised to in network providers. So the insurance informs him on three-way on a recorded line that I'm entitled to 350.00 and additional 20% off with any cost over 350.00. So the insurance nicly ask for the break down on service and was also met with I don't give out that information and was told by insurance everyone is intiitled to and itemized bill listing what you are giving a customer. Then he proceeded to tell her what he charged me for and the price went up 2 times to somehow account for the 20% extra I was to receive. Now he wants to call the police on me because I'm not backing down about my insurance backed validated request for a itemized receipt and I say please call them! I step out to cool off and figure out my options with my insurance company and was told I have a 30 day refund clause. So I ask for a refund and was met with I'm not giving you a refund! WoW!!!! I take my glasses that I paid for and refused to sign any documents and this is when I'm offered a 100.00 refund that I accepted in order to get this very negative experience behind me. 1 star but gave 2 only because I received 100.00 refund. I would recommend this establishment but they need to get a new sells rep. Can't teach and old dog new tricks. His been doing this aggressive approach and nickel and dimeing his customers for many years. Be careful know what your entitled to via insurance and be ready to call them to clarify any information he may give you! Good luck!!!!
Checking in to see if this office changed for the better and according to the most recent reviews I would say that's a NEGATIVE!!!!!! You can't teach an old dog new tricks !!!!!!!!!!!! So So So sad please listen to the reviews we all can't be wrong about this guys very shady and unprofessional work ethics. I'll check in again in about 3 months. Good luck my honest hard working people's.
