Gave me overpriced glasses with a scratch on the lens then had the audacity to charge me for an additional $100 for repairs. Couple weeks later the hinges for the the cheap plastic hinges for the nose pad arms rips off while trying to readjust it as delicate as possible. Screw this place.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY. We came to this store for a re-exam after their affiliate store messed up the rx with their shoddy exam. We weee told we had 6 months to get our initial glass lenses replaced at no cost. Called them back within the 6 months and was told "oh no if it was through insurance it's 3 months and there's nothing we can do". Despite the fact that it was THEIR doctor who did the exam wrong and gave a wrong prescription, they wouldn't step up or own up to their error and kept pushing it back on us and insurance. Ended up getting lenses elsewhere but don't waste your time when there are so many other reliable vendors in the area. I will NOT be returning.

Upside: very professional crew, setting, set up, probably the best and trendy, cleanest one on 86st. *Free" snacks and drinks for their customers, lots of options to choose from. Who can complain about that? No appointments needed, walked in on a weekday at 11am. Downside: Its very few selections of coverage/free frames if you're using your insurance. Like less than 20 glasses you can realistically choose from, so if you're looking for better options this place is quite " high end" and will probably not have the glasses you want.

The staff is very professional and polite here. Facilities are very clean and they provide customers with sinks and snacks while you wait. Eye exam was quick, and optometrist patiently answered all my concerns for my children's prescriptions and suggested options to help the kid's eyesight from worsening. Hamon was great at adjusting the fit of the glasses on the face!! My husband wore the new glasses out of the store and we went shopping. Upon going up the stairs, he felt the steps looked curved, we returned to the store and Hamon adjusted the angle of how the lens sit on the face and it resolved the situation.
