my sons first visit went great. It was busy but the line was moving quick, didn't have much to do today as It was my day off from work. The staff and doctor were amazing! Thank you for a great first visit! Keep in mind though, It is in a location that has a lot of traffic foot work, they also accept most insurances including Medicaid, this location will definitely be busy from the moment they open and close! It does get very crowded and busy but seating is available, so make your appointment when you really have the time and energy!!

Dr. Wong is fine. It seems she's extra nice to compensate for everyone else's horrible behavior. The people in the back are some of the most unprofessional humans on the planet. They sit you down at a machine and don't tell you anything and yell at you for having to rerun the machine tests. They are too busy chatting with random people who pass by and say hi instead of doing their job. It's also very hard to understand what they are saying and they seem to get upset about that. I have ALWAYS had someone tell me what the machine was going to do and walk me through the process. These guys must have 0 training. They were also late to the appt by 45 minutes. No one was before me and the machines were not occupied. So why is there such a delay? Everything should have been very quick but they play too much and are a complete mess. They also cleaned the machine prior to me with a dry tissue. TLDR: untrained, unprofessional, late, unsanitary

Appt was at 2:15pm, came at 1:30pm just in case. At 3pm started asking about my status. They kept saying I had two ppl in front of me. At FOUR O CLOCK I asked again and they told me they called me and I didn't come in.... How did you call me ? When I kept asking when was my turn? Completely unprofessional, and then they try to rush everything when you are being seen. Pack your patience if you're coming or listen to the reviews and go somewhere else.

Have been a regular customer for six years, after learning they perform field of vision tests (I have blind spots due to a damaged optic cortex from a childhood skull fracture from a diving accident that must be checked regularly for insurance purposes) right here in Bushwick and no longer had to horrible Fromer on the UES. Must rave about the lovely Myra, who manages appointments, insurance, and sales of their amazing roster of the most chic designers' frames (I've bought four pairs: One pair each from Saint Laurent and Polo, and two pairs of Ray Bans, one of which are Ray Ban Metas, all with progressive bifocal, Transitions lenses; all of which I highly recommend), and the B.and L. contact lenses I need for work. But at the end of the day, it's Dr. Buck Sverdlin,O.D. who keeps me coming back. I was a 'Warby man' for twenty years, but Dr. Buck discovered that my prescription from them was flawed, He is the finest eye doctor this 59 year old legally blind male with a damaged optic cortex has ever known. And I will keep coming back for Buck. 10/10 W.D.C.

My husband has been waiting for insurance glasses for over 2 months we have consistently called and visited the location to inquire more information on when the glasses would arrive ! Today we go in again to follow up because at this point it's getting ridiculous all to find out they needed to submit a Pior authorization which should have been submitted once we asked for replacements so 2 months later and now a PA was submitted and now have to wait for the approval and for them to send it!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE ! THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU COULD SEE OR NOT ! Definitely finding another clinic this was beyond frustrating and upsetting!!

I started seeing Dr. Samantha Wong's office last June and have some follow-up exams--all went very well. Dr. Wong is incredibly nice, friendly, caring, and very knowledgeable. The staff are amazing--always welcoming and supportive. A special shout-out to Jimmy, who was truly exceptional and went above and beyond.They're also in-network, which makes everything even more convenient. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding care.

If I could give zero stars I would. I showed up for my appointment and had to wait an hour and a half after the time to be seen, only to be told AFTER the fact that they had "misread" my copay and I owed $180. Go back to get my pair of glasses and I'm told basically nothing they carry is covered by insurance with a careless shrug of the shoulders. Just a crappy environment generally, you don't feel welcome as a customer or a patient.

Mayra is the best . She knows her customers and what their needs are. She is always so sweet. I don't know what they would do without her. Thank you Mayra
