The worst eye place ever they over charge for everything . I paid $600 for glasses nit name brand or anything speand the prescription was not correct and nothing like the exam itself. Please go somewhere else dont waste your money and time.

There were a great hiccups in the beginning. However, it all worked out towards the end. Elizabeth is the sweet lady that sits in the front desk. She is extremely helpful.

I had a terrible experience at the National Vision Center in Brooklyn. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. Despite having an appointment, I had to wait over an hour to be seen. When I finally got to see the optometrist, they seemed rushed and uninterested in addressing my concerns. The prescription I received was inaccurate, and when I tried to get it corrected, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Additionally, the selection of frames was disappointing, and the prices were higher than other places I've visited. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

My family and I have been coming here for the past 5-4 years, always quick, great service. We go once a year and had always had great experiences. However there is always an issue located our files as they have paper charts. Once that issue is resolved, we are seen within 20 minutes and choose our frames accordingly. I'm not sure why there are various one star ratings, everyone there has always been kind, friendly, and informative. Before there used to be a Latina girl, we didn't see her during our visit last week but for the past few years she had always helped us. This year there is a woman who's name I unfortunately do not know, but she is very kind and extremely helpful when it comes to breaking down the prices. I had gone there before on my own 6-8 months prior, a walk in to get fitted for contact. From the moment I walked in, less than an hour later I was walking out with 6 months supply of contacts. This past visit (2019), my family of 6 walked in no appointment, we were seen almost immediately, no issues other than the file locating. Overall, we will continue to go there, I would give a 4.5 star rating if I could, the frames might be a little pricey but the insurances covered everything for 3/6 of us, my parents needed some special modifications to the lenses themselves, the frames being covered entirely by the insurance, as they are on the older side while I opted for designer frames. I also work at a doctors office and this is great quality service.That being said, your attitude coming into the office is the attitude you will receive.

They were supposed to be progressive lens, they were not. I received the lens and they were very thick. They never called me when they were ready...... The girl in the front was very uncaring, unprofessional, couldn't care less that I was having trouble with seeing through the lenses. I couldn't see clearly, the doctor checked them out and said there's nothing wrong with them. I said they were too thick. He said there's nothing wrong with that. Unprofessional, rude all throughout, unorganized, unwilling to listen, or work with me, pushy. These are just a few of the problems. I spent extra money and lost money. A scam of a place, needs to be shut down.

Edit: the store open hours is less one hour short, they don't close on the exact store business time and not only Sunday but also Saturday they're not open. Should give less then one star, I have very little tolerance for con-artist thieves. Know about your insurance plan when it come to going to these vision eyewear store, if you have an insurance plan that only cover part for the cost of the eye frame and lens and the rest is paid out of packet for real, am sorryif you don't mind spending. But if you know your insurance plan can fully cover...FULLY COVER...the cost for just simply standard eye frame and lens with absolutely no...AND I MEAN NO...out of pocket cost/co-pay but you are being told there is by a store rep for whatever reason or whatever excuses...that is a BIG FAKE LIE...that is how you get scammed out of your money, walk out of that store or just simply don't buy anything from there. I contact my health insurance to learn about my plan for eye vision service care and they told me my plan only covers the cost for: -the standard eye exam -the standard eye frame -the standard eye lens. Nothing more added, nothing extra, just the STANDARD...there is no extra cost fee and no out of pocket/co-payment plan fee. When I came to the store I told the lady I would like to see the type of eye frames that's available that covers the type of plan I have and told her my insurance only covers for standard eye frame and lens. I hoped expecting her to understand that. She point the direction to one of the glass cabinet and entire row shelf for the eye frames covers the type of plan I have, not a specification selected frames, just that one whole entire row glass cabinet. I was very happy to see there was a lot of different style frames available then what other eyewear stores had left over. When I finally picked a frame suddenly the lady tells me there is an out of pocket fee...'I will admit I was foolish to proceed with the payment when I should have walked out'...she said the reason is my prescriptive lenses are two different sizes. I didn't know what to say, I really needed new glasses. I contact my health insurance again just to make sure there is really no out of pocket cost fee. When I told the insurance representative about what the lady said to me about having two different size lenses to be the out of pocket fee the representative response was confusing and it didn't make any sense what I was telling her, so pretty much I got trick and scammed out of my money. The next day I called in the store in hopes it wasn't too late to cancel everything off, unfortunately it was. If for your own good...people please just don't bother.

Horrible experience National Vision center. I were advised by the female black that my child glasses can and will be adjusted at the back.Last week i went to uplift my glasses the front desk female (possibly Hispanic) tried to issue my family and i glasses without it being adjusted to over face. She boldly started i cant adjust them only the doctor can. It has been two weeks now going back and forth and the doctor is never around.

I couldn't even make it to the place. I called only for Ms.Gloria to immediately cut me off. She didn't care to help. Wasn't interested in my concern. She was rude. And I don't like writing reviews but this one is highly deserved. I called back to confirm even if my insurance would work and she didn't even pickup my call. If you are reading this - which I hope you are to better your customer service. I would highly recommend empathy and patience. Or quit your job.
