I came to Dr. Neha Gadaria's for a highly important, time-sensitive eye issue--but I never had the opportunity to see the doctor due to an unhelpful and dismissive experience at the front desk. When I arrived, there were two receptionists: one was on the phone the whole time, barely acknowledging my presence, and quickly returned to her phone screen. The other, a dark skinned girl with black hair in a ponytail) seated to the left of the desk, greeted me but was brusque. She stated, "I don't see it," indicating that my referral from my PCP wasn't in the system. I handed her the paper referral I brought, and her only response was, "This isn't right," with no explanation or suggestions. How am I supposed to know what qualifies as "right"? I'm not a medical professional. Left without assistance, I called my PCP, who confirmed they were still in the process of uploading the referral. I returned to the desk and inquired whether I could be seen later in the day. Without giving any timeframe, the receptionist turned her back to me and rambled about the doctor leaving early today. I couldn't even catch the full message because she wasn't addressing me directly. That was my breaking point. I left--without being seen, without much needed medical attention which I specifically traveled over an hour to get. This experience has significantly delayed my access to necessary ophthalmologic care. A doctor's office should never be a place where patients feel dismissed or ignored--especially when someone takes time out of their day to seek care. Please consider training your front-desk staff in empathy, clear communication, and patient-oriented problem-solving.

I highly recommend Dr. Gadaria! She is incredibly thorough, knowledgable, and has great bedside manner. She went through detail by detail of next steps and how the process will be. I am so grateful to be her patient!

Excellent caring and compassionate professional makes sure you understand every detail of your procedure and postop care.. I do like the fact she's ontime and never rushes you. Highly recommend.

Very good doctor. Knows whats she doing. Even when my moms eye had inflammation after procedure she did everything to heal it for free. Nice person. Knowledgeable doctor.
