Ny Vision Group

I have been going to the doctor for well over 10 years I started at the Richmond Hill office. I liked it, I even referred some people to the office, they were thorough and took care of all your eye needs and it was great. I have been wearing glasses since second grade and I am now very well past school age then I have an illness that causes me to need to see an eye doctor more frequently so I know a thing a two about seeing an eye doctor and NY Vision Group was perfect but then I moved and I moved over to their office in Brooklyn because it is more convenient. My last trip to that office is my last time ever going there the doctor I saw Julia Schneider was the worst. I went to see a doctor bcuz I had an accident with something getting in my eye it caused my eye to tear profusely and I couldn't see it was so much pain and very light sensitive. When I got to the doctor I told the person doing my eye test what happened to eye she told me ok I'll tell the doctor. I see the doctor and the doctor tells me after looking in my eye that I have pink eye and then she gives medication. I know that I didn't have pink eye so I said to her Why are you saying I got pink eye then I tell that I accidentally dropped turmeric oil in my eye and it burned my eye and I couldn't see,etc. She then said to me " Oh same thing" and ushered me out the office,didn't correct anything still gave me the same medication and everything. I won't be back clearly Pink eye is not the same as dropping turmeric oil in your eye. Shameful I can't trust going to that office ever again. It's my eyes. I know my eyes mean nothing to you Julia Schneider but they mean a great deal to me you should be ashamed but you're not. You are a doctor. Do better!!! Sounds like medical malpractice to me so I gave one star for the nice receptionist and the fast appointment but the doctor ruined it so what is the point of good office personnel without a good doctor,its pointless.

I had a great experience the doctor & her staff go above & beyond in making you comfortable explaining everything as you go along. I was also given pamphlets to read at my leisure with explanations on each option no forced sale no condescending speak I truly recommend them & will be doing my surgery in a few weeks.

We had an appointment 12 pm and she asked unnecessary questions and postponed appointments after three month .Not good and rude staff

Receptionists are pleasant, before you see the doctor all exams are done fast and the girls are friendly

Love this place. It may get a little crowded, but they are very knowledgeable.
