Whoever is managing their emails and check in procedures doesn't have a clue! I submitted all my insurance info online for a specialized fitting, they said it was "good to go". I then refilled everything on a paper form upon visiting, and the front desk told me there was a $400 charge. Huge waste of time and cab money

I'm so grateful and relieved after my awesome visit with Dr. Bronfman today. She was so thorough and reassuring and explained everything to me by showing me images and providing a detailed explanation of her findings. I must add, if you love the smell of alcohol to reassure you that the exam equipment is freshly cleaned for your sanitary pleasure, you will be extremely satisfied. The staff members are super friendly and kind, and my wait time was not too bad. I will be back!

Really wanted to like this place, but I had repeated issues with incorrectly sized or misplaced punctal plugs. After the first placement, I had to return within a day or two due to discomfort and was told it was related to my tear duct anatomy. When the same issue happened again about two months later, I decided not to return for another attempt and instead went back to my previous optometrist, where I haven't had these problems.
I was also asked to put down a $400 deposit for the plugs and was told I would be reimbursed once insurance approved them. After almost two months with no update, I had to follow up myself to get the refund.
I've been getting punctal plugs for years due to dry eye and haven't experienced these issues elsewhere. While everyone here was kind and accommodating, I was disappointed in the overall care and follow-through and wouldn't recommend this practice for patients with more complex eye care needs.
