Dr. Gelnick is an outstanding physician who is truly worth the wait. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and takes the time to really listen and understand your concerns rather than rushing through the visit. The waiting time can be long. If you're looking for a doctor who is thorough, compassionate, and genuinely invested in his patients, Dr. Gelnick is excellent and highly recommended.

My experience with this office has been completely unacceptable. I attempted three separate times to complete a basic annual eye exam, and each visit revealed a new level of disorganization, misinformation, and unprofessional conduct. First visit: I was told I needed a referral--something they failed to mention when I originally called and provided my insurance information. That was their first major communication failure. Second visit: Once I had the referral, I took time off work to come in, when I arrived for my exam I was suddenly told by the front desk I had to pay $60 ($10 co-pay + $50 refractive exam fee). None of this was disclosed beforehand. I left & I immediately contacted my insurance afterward, and they confirmed that this office is in-network and that I should not be paying any co-pay or refractive exam fee. So the information I received from the office was simply incorrect and I thought I got it sorted out at this point since my insurance got in contact with their office and the person at the office said they can bill through my EyeMed plan now that they see that I have a vision plan and then reschedule for my third time. Third attempt: I called the day before to make sure everything was finally sorted out before wasting my time and coming in again after the first two attempts. Instead, I was told I would still be charged a co-pay and refractive fee because they choose to bill my medical insurance first rather than my EyeMed vision plan--despite the fact that doing so costs the patient more and contradicts what my insurance told me and what the representative I spoke to told me from the second time. At this point, the lack of communication, the inconsistent information, and the complete disregard for accuracy is alarming. After three attempts--they still couldn't provide clear, correct, or consistent answers about coverage or costs. I then told the person I spoke with to cancel my appointment for the next because I found another office nearby where I didn't have to pay a dime for my annual the exam. Just for the next day have the front desk contact me asking me if I want to reschedule my appointment because I didn't come in ....... This office has shown a pattern of poor communication and unprofessional handling of patients. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others.

The experience was very good. The staff is friendly. The technician was very thorough and made sure to show you that everything was cleaned after each patient and again before using it again. Dr. Patel was knowledgeable and kind. She even went the extra mile and checked with the pharmacy that the eye drops were in stock. I would definitely recommend.

Definitely a great spot for getting your eyes checked. They have some of the best assistants and optometrist when getting your eyes checked. Dr. Patel did a really great job with checking my vision and making sure everything is good. They have state of art technology that gets to see everything about your eyes. Though office can be a bit busy.

By far the worst eye doctor office I've encountered. NEVER PICKS UP THE PHONE. My father had an appointment with Dr. Glenick and was prescribed eyedrops. It's been a few days and they still have not resolved the reason why the eye drops are not being sent to the pharmacist for pick up. I stopped by yesterday at 3PM and it's almost 24 hours and still the prescription has not been sent. I am soooo frustrated because my father wants travel to the pharmacist to check if they sent the eyedrops and now go to his other doctor to get these eye drops prescribed by him instead. PLEASEEE be more attentive to each patient's issues. It's been almost a week trying to get these eye drops and I am trying to not complain but I CANT HELP ITTT when it's affecting my daily schedule now too.

Five months ago my primary care doctor sent me to sight md because I was having problems with my eyes after being examined by Dr Patel I was told that I had dry eyes but that was just the beginning, they also discovered that I had cataracts in both eyes I had no idea I only knew I couldn't drive at night and lights had halos around them. Enter Dr.Vo he examined me and determined that I should have surgery if I wanted, of course I did. After being scheduled for surgery I was looking forward to getting my eyes done. In November Dr Vo did surgery on my right eye which was the worst in a few days my vision was vastly improved only then did I realize how bad my vision was by comparing it to my left eye. Two weeks later Dr Vo did the other eye and I see like a twenty year old I'm close to eighty Dr Patel is doing after care and she is wonderful. I can't thank the staff at Sightmd enough for this amazing gift of sight thank you so much I would recommend you to anyone Happy New Year to you all

Reception was very helpful, the workers were calm and kind. The doctor was helpful in helping me understand what my eye condition is. Great place to go.
