I came here with a pair of eyeglass frames that my grandmother gave me shortly before she passed away -- they are priceless to me. When I explained this and asked a few simple questions to be sure they wouldn't be misplaced, the manager, Ali, was cold, dismissive, and very unprofessional. She brushed off my concerns and even told me that if I didn't stop asking questions, she wouldn't work on my glasses.
A couple of minutes after I left, she actually called me to say she refused to do them altogether.
As someone who has worked in healthcare for 11+ years, compassion and respect matter deeply -- and I left this place feeling hurt, disrespected, and shocked by how poorly I was treated. I would strongly urge others to think carefully before trusting something meaningful here.

I went to Dr. Cohen to get fitted for contacts. My appointment was scheduled for 5:10, I was called up at 5:55. That was the only downside. After getting fit for contacts, the doctor directed me to one of their specialists that assisted me in placing the contacts in/out of my eyes. They were very patient and all very happy and friendly. I loved my experience here other than the wait time.

Was given a same-day appointment for 215pm. When I arrived at 2pm, multiple people were waiting for their appointments. Nothing out of the ordinary. Until... I heard one on the phone saying they'd been there an hour. Another walked up to the counter and asked how much longer. Thirty minutes later, nothing changed (accept more people were coming in and waiting). Turns out, the doctor wasn't even there. Was told "he was at prayer," but would return shortly. Based on the number of people waiting, and for how long (overheard one saying her appt was at 1:15pm, which by then was an hour ago), I could tell it was going to take forever, and canceled my appointment right there. You might want to look elsewhere if you want a place that doesn't book appointments during prayer time when the doctor won't actually be in the office.

Dr. Cohen is great. Definitely my favorite optometrist and I've been to a few places. This is my go to Guy, excellent, professional down to earth and friendly, and the rest of the staff at the Place is just as friendly as well. I highly recommend this place. It's the best.

I went to this place my second time today. The first time was last month and the employees were very nice and helpful. The doctor wasn't bad either. This time, I came with an issue with my eye being so terrified and the doctor was absolutely rude and had zero empathy. He kept cutting me off and basically ignored my questions and every response had attitude. I left the office crying and I am never going here again.

I recently went to dr cohen. My daughter had a severe eye infection (I found out after going to a different doctor and doing labs) and he kept saying allergies. Terrible. Do NOT go to him if you have an issue with your eye. He will tell you something totally off. He won't admit he doesn't know.
Hensley I wouldn't go here even for simple check ups.
