I broke my glasses and came to see if that can be fixed , unfortunately the frame was screwed and I had no time to wait for new pair. The owner managed to find similar frame and work with my existing lenses. Definitely recommend this optical for anyone who needs good pair of glasses!

Without realizing it, he had sold me the best possible pair of glasses I could have bought at any price point, from anyone. I first went to Charlie more than 30 years ago when my 3 yr old needed prescription glasses. The Manhattan pediatric opthamolgist who checked my daughter's glasses was genuinely surprised and took down Charlie's contact info to recommend to his patients' parents, attesting to Charlie's skills. I wouldn't trust anyone other than Charlie for my own prescription eyeglasses and have been traveling to his store since 1987. In addition to high quality frames, Charlie provides individualized service and welcomes questions, imparting his knowledge accumulated from having served so many different needs for decades.

THE BEST!!! Not only was he super patient with my nervous 7 year old who needed his first pair of glasses, but when said 7 year old broke said glasses within a week, he replaced them for free! I can't recommend this place enough. You don't get this kind of service anymore, truly one of a kind!

I have been using Twenty Twenty Optical for OVER 25 years and couldnt get better care anywhere else! I have a difficult prescription and the owner, Charlie, has never once let me down! He is precise and extremely professional. His selection of frames is so up today and he also keeps the ones that he knows his clientele will lean towards just in case they dont want the most current fad. Turn around time to get your glasses is quick too! Have a problem and need them fixed Charlie is always up to the task! You wont be sorry you went to Twenty Twenty !

Original review: The owner takes time to understand what you need, is very professional, and delivers outstanding eyewear. I tried several other opticians/eyewear stores in the area and no one comes close. Five star service and quality! Update: Recently, several years after my original review, I visited Twenty Twenty Optical again because my vision has changed and my current contact lenses were no longer correct for me. Charlie patiently worked with me and found the perfect solution to my problem. Once again, above and beyond 5 stars!
