Vistasite Eye Care of Sheepshead Bay

I had such a great experience at Vistasite Eyecare of Sheepshead Bay that I felt compelled to share. Dr. Ilyusha has an excellent bedside manner. He really takes the time to explain everything clearly and patiently answer every question. My new eyeglass prescription is honestly the best I've ever had. I didn't realize how much I was over compensating until I put these on. Zhanna was also incredible while helping me choose frames! She walked me through colors and shapes that actually flatter my face, and the selection was abundant, current, and stylish. I never once felt rushed or pressured. There's absolutely no comparison between the glasses I got here and mail-order ones. The quality, fit and vision clarity are on a different level! I'll definitely be back for my future eye care needs. Highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews, but this one feels necessary. Dr. Stanislav Ilyusha is excellent: attentive, skilled, and thorough. I returned because the clinic itself advised me to follow up. However, my experience with the front desk was frustrating. On my second visit, the receptionist said I wasn't in the system and had never been there, even though I had the exams done at the clinic, signed by the doctor. She placed countless obstacles, including absurd claims about my insurance. I even offered to call my insurance to prove it was correct. After a long time, she finally found me, and that moment lasted longer than the exam itself, and the doctor is so thorough I left with no doubts. In the end, the receptionist blamed a middle name discrepancy, but they had my address, phone number, last visit date, and my email. Speaking of email, I asked repeatedly to have my exam results sent, and to this day, while writing this review, I have not received them. Even after explaining how important it was to continue my treatment, now on hold because of this, they never sent them. The worst part was when I mentioned the glasses model I wanted; she saw the price in the system and the treatment changed. Respect should not depend on what you spend, your race, religion, appearance, or clothing. As a Black woman with dreadlocks, I couldn't help but wonder if bias played a role. I sincerely hope the office improves its front desk service, because the doctor deserves a team that matches his excellence!

Very pleased with my visits. Dr. Ilyusha is very knowledgeable and pleasant. He takes his time to explain everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had an emergency visit for an eye infection and they were able to see me the same day within the same hour. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I had such a great experience today that I had to come and write a review today. This place is absolutely amazing. From the front staff and medical techs to Dr. Stan himself, they have to be one of my most welcoming clinics I have ever been to. Dr. Stan was incredibly attentive and throughly checked my eyes and handled my sty and glaucoma needs expertly. I highly recommend this clinic for your eye care needs!

My wife and I had a great experience coming to Vistasite. The office was very clean and the staff were welcoming. The doctor did a thorough exam for us both and patiently answered any questions we had. I also bought a pair of glasses there and was helped throughout the process. Had a great experience at Vistasite in Sheepshead Bay. The store is very modern with state of the art equipment. From the doctor to the optician as well as front desk, everyone was super nice and helpful. I love my my new Philip Plein sunglasses and am looking forward to going back for another pair soon.
