I went to the 20th Ave location. I was just picking up my items I ordered online. However I came across team member Bryan , and this employee is well beyond the normal customer service experience. This employee walked me to a item I thought I bought for more b4 the holiday sale and stopped a return (your welcome bjs). We spoke about the other items I was interested in buying. The thing is he made me feel special even though I was a regular customer just stopping by to pick up my items. Most people are not polite or knowledgeable like that anywhere you go. Bjs the more employees like him , the better your company will be. I'm not here to say I had a good day going to bjs but honestly it made my day. The manager on duty was also a sweetheart.

To BJ's Corporate and the General Public: Let's talk about the BJ's location on 20th Avenue in College Point (Store #097)--because what's happening there is completely unacceptable. This store consistently has no working scooters for elderly, disabled, or mobility-challenged customers. As you can see from the photos, the few scooters they do have are marked "BROKEN" and clearly neglected. This isn't a new problem--it's been going on far too long. BJ's is a massive warehouse store. Expecting anyone with mobility issues to walk through that space without support is not just unrealistic--it's inhumane. This location serves seniors, families, and people with disabilities daily. How is it even remotely okay to offer no reliable accommodations? This is beyond poor service--it's a failure to provide basic accessibility. And it sends a message: if you can't walk the store, you don't matter. BJ's, it's time to fix this. Repair or replace the scooters, increase the number available, and take your customers' needs seriously. Until then, I strongly advise anyone who relies on mobility assistance to avoid this location altogether--for your own safety and dignity.

I have been going to this BJs for many years. I noticed a year ago that to some of their products their prices are doubled from their other lications. For example, Knorr powder Chicken bouillon, the price at college point today was 15.49 and at the valley stream location is 6.99. Their excuse is that different locations, are taxed differently. Please, I understand maybe a dollar or two. Not almost triple the price. Meanwhile Costco has it for 6.29 no matter their lication, and maybe like half a year ago they had a special offer for 4.99 each. Obviously the prices are going up , A LOT, but this is ridiculous. I am planning on stopping going shopping to this location. I am really disappointed.

Staff at self checkout was rude and unhelpful. Was getting an error message on the machine and he pointed out that it was my fault, which is fine, but he was so rude about it. I replied, "I'm not touching anything near the table, sorry". Shockingly, he said "fine, if you need help I won't help you, you'll have to get someone else," before walking away. Didn't need his help anyway but that interaction was actually appalling. BJ's probably won't do anything about this but if you ever see a male black employee at self checkout, just know he is not nice and has no patience.

Whoever is managing inventory for their mobile app at this location needs retraining. Eggs, banana, avocado, water, bread, all marked as sold out but I just walked in and they're available. Why even have an app

Don't make my mistake wasting money buying these products from BJ's (I'll keep updating this list): Milk has gone bad for me one week before "best sell by date" Berkley Jensen Dishwashing Liquid is just water, it's doesn't do anything. Tzatziki doesn't have a consistent taste. One time is good and sometimes has no flavor. Berkley Jensen baby wipes. They are not wet and almost dry. Huggies worth the extra dollars. Any pistachio flavored BJ's bakery. Tastes very off. Make sure milk gallons are not cracked before leaving the store and the same for eggs.

Went there this morning, the store was pretty empty. Went to self checkout as I have done for the last 10+ years to be told I should go to a cashier line. This was after a very brief perusal by Cindy of my cart (which, by the way had 23 instead of 20 items). I'll call the manager tomorrow so he can have Cindy use some critical thinking when telling customers they can't self checkout when there are plenty of self-service areas available. Let's get some common sense here. . . . .

I tried the optical services for my college kid this winter for the first time and wasn't sure how it would be The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and efficient ! In fact my daughter had been wearing - prescription though she is actually + !! Never knew that! She quickly selected two fantastic designer frames at very affordable prices and it was the best decision ever! They even gave me a box in which to ship it to her in college n said if she needed adjustment she could go to ANY BJs in her college town! Now that's what I call SERVICE!! Never going to those pricey optical stores in the mall anymore to end up with wrong prescription !
