Unfortunately, I had a very unprofessional experience at this business. I called to book an appointment specifically for contacts (I never said anything about glasses). The individual providing the exam sounded sick and I should have been warned during flu season or asked if I was ok with it. I was then scolded for not bringing or having glasses even though I've been going to eye exams since I was 12 years old and never had anyone do this before. I was seeing double with their equipment the entire time and some how they blamed the shape of my face even though I've never seen double during an entire eye exam in my life. I was sent home with two different contact options and both of them made my vision worse. I've asked for a refund - since I'm not exactly sure what I paid for (I don't have a contact prescription and my vision was far from corrected). I've always left with a helpful prescription in the past in just one visit at other offices. If you just want glasses it might be ok - but I would avoid for contacts.

They were great, saved me over $200.00 on a new prescription pair of eyeglasses. What more can I ask for? What more? Well, I went to go pick up my glasses and they were closed, did not know on Saturdays they close at 1pm, so I called the phone number and a gentleman answered, opened the store for me and I got my glasses. They go above and beyond the call of duty, gotta love it.

I'm sure its a lovely shop, but they do not take insurance and I cannot afford eye care without insurance.

Went for Eye Exam and new glasses. Optometrist was pleasant and entire staff was very helpful with my eye glass selection. Highly recommend East Hampton Optical to anyone that needs an exam and new glasses.

I lost my glasses in the ocean. I reached out to them one hour before they closed to try and get a replacement. They were very helpful and I was able to leave the same day with a new pair of glasses.
