Walmart Vision & Glasses

I had a great experience at Walmart Vision and Glasses thanks to Michael, the optometrist. He took the time to clean my glasses and added padding to a pair I still enjoy wearing. Even though it was a small request, Michael was professional, quick, and had excellent bedside manner. It's really great to see someone give their all, even for a small purchase. Outstanding service--highly recommend.

Exceptional Service at the Eye Center - Kudos to Michael and Tranella! I do hope I spelled the names correctly! I had the pleasure of visiting the Eye Center recently, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding experience I had--thanks in large part to Michael, the manager, and Tranella, his remarkable associate. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this team is something special. Michael sets the tone with his professionalism, kindness, and attention to every detail. He leads with a calm confidence that puts patients at ease and keeps the entire center running like clockwork. Whether he's coordinating appointments, answering questions, or stepping in to assist staff and patients alike, he does it all with a level of care that's genuinely rare. Equally impressive is Tranella, whose warmth and efficiency truly stand out. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always ready with a reassuring word or a friendly smile. Her ability to connect with patients and provide clear, compassionate support makes every interaction smooth and stress-free. Together, Michael and Tranella create an environment that is both highly professional and deeply human. You can tell they care--not just about doing their jobs well, but about making sure every person who walks through the door feels respected, understood, and well taken care of. Exam was fine. Problem was the people in the eyeglasses section wouldnt take my PD (pupil distance) measurement since I wasnt going to buy glasses from them. I looked, and they didnt have the type of glasses I wanted, so I asked for my PD so I could look elsewhere, and they said "we cant guarantee the measurement since we arent getting you glasses here" and "I dont want you buying glasses elsewhere and then getting angry at me". oh please. Its a fairly percise measurement that doesnt change. Realistically, I doubt anyone has ever had an issue with their PD ever -- measure it twice if youre so concerned. What they mean is 'I dont want to do 30 seconds worth of work if you arent going to make an additional purchase from us.' Unless youre 100% sure youll be buying glasses from them there (and their selection is mediocre), dont bother getting an exam here. Also, be honest if youre not going to do something because of policy/greed, the excuses just sound ridiculous and look greedy/dumb. I called a place I got glasses from 5 years ago and asked for my PD, they gave it over the phone no problem... I also asked if they would give me my PD if I just got an eye exam and they said, "sure, only takes a second". EXACTLY.
