I cannot say enough good things about my experience at New Horizons Eyewear! Roopy is kind, patient knowledgeable, and professional. He made my eyeglass purchase enjoyable and less of a chore. 100% recommend New Horizons Eyewear!

I had an amazing experience when I went in to get my glasses tightened. Roopy was fast, efficient, personable, knowledgeable and provided top quality banter and service. Yes i did just go in to get my glasses tightened but he went above and beyond and turned a mundane chore into an enjoyable experience. The negative reviews from this place seem to be from bad experiences from previous management. Give this place a shot. I think it's a cozier place and less busy than Robert's on the parkway

Staff is very friendly. However, the quality of the lenses are absolutely horrible. I have a very high prescription and my lenses were flat as a board with no curvature whatsoever. If I could attach comparison photos, I absolutely would. This means I could only see looking dead center, straight ahead through the center of the lense. I had very high hopes for this establishment to provide me with excellent lenses (considering the cost was over $1,000 for two sets of lenses, not inclusing the cost of frames). I requested a refund due to the simple fact that I CANNOT SEE with the lenses that were provided and that I paid in full for. Most companies would write this off as a loss. However I was not given a full refund, nor was I able to keep the brand new frames I purchased. I was originally told I could only be reimbursed for the frames and not the lenses which were obviously of no use to me. I was then told that out of sympathy, they would "only" keep 22% of my total and the brand new frames (which will be resold for further profit). This seems very unprofessional considering this was zero fault of my own and I did not just willy nilly decide that I do not want the lenses or frames. The lenses were absolutely useless to me as I could not see out of them. I deserve a full refund and was not given one. I now must go to another office to purchase PROPER lenses and new frames, while losing out on money that the establishment kept. Might I also add, one of the sets of lenses had a chunk of glass missing in the bottom left lense that would have needed to be replaced if the lenses actually were correct and I was able to keep them. I'm not sure how that goes unnoticed before giving to a paying customer.

I just can't say enough in praise regarding the new manager/optician, Roopy. I have always had a difficult time with my glasses, as I have an unusual prescription. One eye is not too bad, the other one is extremely nearsighted and I have a strange base curve. It's a situation. Roopy is the kindest, most patient and knowledgeable optician ever. He really helped me out and I am very satisfied with my new glasses. He really knows what he's doing, and you can be confident that you will be as satisfied as I am. Plus, he is one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. 5 stars all the way!

I purchased my glasses here from the previous owner/manager and although I liked my glasses I wasn't thrilled with him. I have gone back 3 times this year to have my glasses adjusted as they were sitting crooked.( don't know how I manage to get them bent up so often) Each time the new owner/manager Roopie has helped me. He is very nice about correcting them never in a rush. He is very calm and interested in my glasses being the best for me. Roopie is a welcome change! I recommend him and the shop to anyone looking for a new pair of glasses or need adjusted.

New Horizon Eyewear is thankfully under new managment. Roopy is the new manager and he is wonderful! He is so pleasant, easy to talk to, and very helpful. Cathy, the person who also works there is very nice too. I'm so glad Phil retired.

I have been a customer here for the past 23 years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to answer my questions and concerns, are available for repairs, and have never pressured me into buying a particular frame or lens package, even when it would mean more money for them if they did. The frame selection is large and has something for everyone. My whole family has been going here for years and will continue to go here, we are treated with courtesy and respect at all times. Phil is wonderful and will take the time to ask after different family members and remembers details from past discussions! Things are costly, but the quality is top notch.

Phil is the most rude, money hungry optician I have ever met. I wouldn't get a pair of glasses from this man if they were free. He pushes you to buy the most expensive frames, lenses, and coating if you have good insurance. Doesn't care if you need them or not. He was even threatening to me which I find completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find another place to go for eyewear.
