Dr Kakzanov and everyone working here were truly nice and helpful during my visit. The doctor took his time to make sure my prescription was perfect and explained the results of all tests. I will definitely come back!

Dr.Kakzanov is an amazing eye doctor. He is very professional and makes sure you are comfortable with the prescription you will wear. The staff is very welcoming and sweet. The optical has a great variety of glasses Great prices & high end designers too. Recommend to everyone!

Wonderful experience, first time seeing an optometrist, was very comfortable everyone there is extremely friendly. There is little to no wait time. Recommend to anyone looking for a calm experience. Conveniently located on Austin Street by the forest hills train station by the e m r and f trains.

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience when visiting Michael Kakzanov. I went here out of convenience and urgency, since I have really poor vision and had broken my glasses. When looking for a frame, Michael Kakzanov told me they were offering $200 off of any pair of designer frames. I chose a pair, and when he told me the total price, I mentioned that he had not taken the $200 off. He pointed to a number on the paper and said that he applied the discount and attempted to brush me off. I realized that the $200 he was claiming to be a "promotion" was actually the $200 deductible provided to be BY MY INSURANCE. That $200 was NOT an offer that he was giving to me "as a friend," nor was he "hooking me up" as he had liked to claim. That is the $200 I have EARNED. He tried to use this tactic to get me to choose a more expensive frame, and in doing so, he LIED to my face. I confronted him about this, and he did not follow through with his word, and instead mentioned that he barely profits off of my insurance to begin with. Firstly, that is not my problem, and secondly, no business person would ever choose to accept an insurance that is not profitable. Overall, his behaviors were TOTALLY unethical, and I was forced to get glasses through him anyway, because my insurance requires me to get my lenses where I get my examination. He knew this, so he did not care about how unethical his actions were, because he knew he would have my business regardless. Totally unethical and needless to say, I will never visit this office again.
